  • The station is a local Mexican on 850 kHz--a local bleed through that shows up on most receivers at this location isf an external antenna is used.

  • Nothing detectable for audio without the ferrite? I'm hearing something faint down in the noise around 2:02-2:35 or so, getting louder (doe to turning up volume) about 2:10.

    The ferrite does make the signal stronger, but I suspect you may have a strong source of local noise nearby. (At 111 miles I clearly receive 1070 KNX on an ultralight (Tecsun PL-380, PL-606) with very little noise, but some of that path is saltwater.)

    Hey any idea what the music station I was hearing in WWL's null was?
