A huntsman crawled on me just when I was going to sleep a few weeks ago. I don't remember exactly what happened after that but I woke up the next morning naked in my bath tub with a can of bug spray in one hand and a butcher knife in the other...

Eh that's one's only a little one. The big ones can have a leg span as long as one of those pens.

Mind you the little ones a faster and more energetic. But when they're in my home they almost always stay on the ceiling, or high up on the wall. Good thing they're harmless, but yeah they do look scary.

we have some fully grown ones living in our house, they grow to 30 cm in diameter, they are awesome. I saw one the other day only about half size jump from my wall, catch a blowfly in midair and then it landed on my bed, paused for a second and then ran off. Gota love australia
