  • "She's on this track!" Since when do train's have vagina's xD

  • xD Most people in the hobby say girl just as a reference to the train. I don't know how it came to be but who knows!

  • cool catch

  • sounds like a messed up k3l but i cant tell

  • I saw a unit like this last summer! It is a great paint scheam!

  • most of these have gone thru stupid repaints, which tick me off

  • The unit is in YN3.

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx careless shitheads @ csx,goddamn YN3.y did they have 2 repaint them????!!!,it's irritating!!!

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx ya the DC gevo and the SD60I but the SD40-2 is YN!

  • Yah We sometimes have a Stealth Painted Loco working the local down in VA. Havent seen it in a while though but now there is a GP40-2 with a nose light instead of roof lights

  • That SD40-2 was actually in 'Yellow Nose 1' paint, rather than Stealth. To see an actual Stealth-painted loco, look under my videos for CSXT 7509, a C40-8, and one of the very last to wear it. ^^ Such a shame that 8368 has been repainted since this video, as has 8436, the first locomotive I ever filmed, which was also in YN1 at the time.

  • You are correct sir. I was not aware that this unit was repainted at this time, thank you for the information. Ironically enough, I saw 7509 trailing on a westbound freight during one of my runs and I didn't have a camera on it.. It was late August.

  • Good to hear the 7509 is still in that paint, at least for now! It's only a matter of time, sadly...

  • Yea its 1 of 3 I think remaining, I know the 7588 is still in the YN1

  • Last I checked, the last C40-8's (and maybe the last of anything!) in full Stealth paint were 7509, 7587, and 7588. Though, 7587 and 7588 have yellow rear ends. xD

  • All the C40-8's that have the stealth body paint have yellow ends

  • Are you sure? Unless recently repainted, 7509 definitely has gray paint on the end of her long hood. I have video footage on my Channel that clearly shows this. xD

  • I will check the video I have of it.

  • nice catch man the other day i caught two sd40-2s flyin thru lucama with stealth paint to bad i didnt have my camera handy

  • Thanks, and bummer man!

  • LOVE that horn!

    know what type it is?

  • K5HL

  • hey he did not run the red signal, after the engine passes the light flips 2 red.

  • If you put yt:stretch=16:9 in the tags, it should make the aspect ratio of this video correct, rather than being squished from the sides. Not complaining, just in case you didn't know

  • Thanks, I don't do that because it destroy's video quality.

  • ITS A LESLIE! LOL

  • Ive seen an "army stelth" dash 9

  • That would be very interesting to see..

  • That horn is a Nathan K3LA

  • Sounds like it, but I'm not entirely sure. But I'll take your word and do a bit more work to finding it out.

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx It's too deep to be a k3la

  • K5HL?

  • no infact that is a nathan k5hl

  • Sounds awfully deep of one then

  • did you mean a medium approach signal??

  • Yea, moderate approch is also a fitting name

  • i saw that same sd40-2 at the selkirk yard a week ago

  • Wow talk about that thing gets around!

  • ya hahahahaha where was this?

  • McKeesport, PA CSX Keystone Subdivision. Just after Riverton

  • oo ok

  • ive seen one in new jersey on the penns grove secondary line

  • Norfolk southern has a couple i seen one myself today

  • Most are in Norfolk Southern's Conway Yard. 40 miles away from Pittsburgh. I've seen one in CR paint, on video.

  • CSX owns not many SD38s

  • Yeah along with Norfolk Southern..

  • dude im sorry to tell you this but i went railfanning a couple days ago and i saw this csx (loco number 8368) it was being lead by a sd38 csx it was carrying 375 cars and it caught here engine on fire!!! they luckily got it out the first minute but there putting a new engine in her!!!

    NOT KIDDING!

  • Really? If So, then that means she'll be getting a nice new repaint.. Such a Shame... 1 more YN1 gone due to mechanical troubles

  • yup cant believe they thought they could make here do so much i mean 350 cars carried by a dash 8 and an sd40! thats to much!!!

  • sorry not a dash 8 i mean an sd38

  • Thats what i thought. CSX doesnt own any SD38's I think

  • nvm it was a dash 8

  • Really? Thats seemingly not right. They had to be working hard or having extra help

  • :31 The train just ran a stop sign ;)

  • Ha! Yeah! I just noticed it now after watching it for at least 30 times..

  • Nice video 5*****'s

  • @DouglasP201 Trains can run stop signs because they have the right of weight.

  • @seabulls69 Weight?

  • @DouglasP201 The stop sign is meant for auto traffic, not a signal light for trains.

  • Nice catch but why is the video so narrow?

  • before i began to use my editing program, the computer posted videos in 4:3 format, im now starting to post in 16:9

  • Try YN1...

  • Uh Yes, i know that, i can refer it to as " Stealth Paint " because the body still has it.

  • but all YN1s look like this. If it was a stealth, there would be no yellow anywhere.

  • Yes i know that..

  • not stealth because it's got yellow.

  • I know that, its still rare due to the fact that they can be repainted to the lead 2 units paint scheme.. its body is still stealth and i know that.

  • Fantastic video, man. I loved the sound of that horn, too.

  • Thank You, its quite interesting i find myself

  • Thats definetly no K3LA, a sick K5HL.

  • Wooo man this is some mental shit! You train spotters make me laugh

  • How so, and why? Because its our hobby or something? Or do we just get you confused is all..

  • I'm not a train spotter either, but I think what you are doing for a hobby is cool. Every time I cross over the mainline I see people trackside with digital cameras.

You want to talk about mental issues, however, you need to look no further than DJs, and white boys who speak senselessly in hieroglyphics wanting to be black. They are a little 'touched in the head.'

    Don't let anyone discourage you!

  • Thanks Much!! And yea i understand entirely what you mean.. Glad to see someone who may not railfan thinking the hobby's cool

  • No mental issues you bring up, I merely stated a comment. For you to make something out of nothing then i say you are pedantic which is a trait mainly held by minors. For which i say grow up.

My musical talent goes as far as recording the events I manage and engineer. To have an interest in a vehicle which is also one of my passions firstly you must be part of the operation not just an observer. Some one who takes pictures is a photographer or a film maker. Sorry for any offence

  • I have the same to you, i was not causing a fight as i just merely replied as to comment telling you my personal reasoning for the " stealth " topic is all. And i actually no offense to you, as i am an unoffical person, and is not related or belonging to CSX, NS, URR, W&LE and other Railroading coperations.. I am simply an observer as stated, i do know a few people with the railway, but not with the railway.. And No offense taken, i understand your comment entirely!

  • Punks who spit in a microphone with other fellow wiggers or manage and engineer (c)rap is telling who to grow up?

Is it "Whir" or "Wirr" or how is it said? I want to ask the edumacated here.

  • please do not undermine me just by my first remark, I do have a love for steam locomotives and the engineers skills whom built the vehicles. However Diesel and electric engines i find almost mind melting boring for the lack of design and feeling put in to the machines.

  • i myself am the same to the topic.. Diesels do an entertainment, but isnt all that great, as opposed to great iron steam horses of the past..

  • Deep then

  • What is stealth paint?

  • Stealth Paint Alex, is CSX's earliest and first offical paint scheme. The Paint shown on the 3rd unit's body is " Stealth Paint " Except it isnt Stealth anymore due to the yellow nose and back. Stealth used to be all Grey and blue lettering and numbering.

  • Now that I think about it, I don't see any of that grey paint much on those kinds. I used to, but not anymore.

  • Theres only about maybe 100 left..

  • Nice SD40-2...That unit was rebuilt from a straight SD40...noting the brake wheel on the rear of the unit.

  • Yep.

  • Nice!

  • Sweet video

  • Nice K3LA!!!

  • Yes, Very Much!

  • For this Line, and at this time, it was quite rare to see. I see them quite frequnetly now on my line

  • please to be commenting on my videos please.

  • I am VERY Busy at the momet but as soon as im able to i will do so

  • Dang thats a deep k5la horn. beautiful though.

  • K5LA? I thought that was K3LA!

  • nah k5la

  • Nope, it's definitely a K3LA. I hear them all the time.

  • Thats What i thought. This is quite a deep one as well

  • dude no way i say one of thse in YN1 over by me in toledo. it had a RS5t on it too, man i still wish i took my camera that day

  • Nice!

  • That's awesome! YN1 is rare. Even I haven't seen one before.

  • Yep! It is and i saw another YN1 unit today. 1 of 2 remaining C40-8's In YN1

  • whats a power move

  • It is, Q352 has 3 of them not to long ago... But CSX only has about 75 left in Yn1 i would guess. Theres only 1 SD50 left in YN1

  • what camera do u use?

  • JVC everio and a MX 400 tripod

  • i see power moves all the time but i live 20 feet from the main line but still nice catch

    plz subscribe

  • Yea on the Keystone Sub we dont see to much power moves after Connelsville..

  • Nice catch! How did you like that YN1 GP40-2 and Roadslug in my D703 video?

  • thanks Eric. And No, i didnt see it yet but i will take a look-see now

  • CSX trains are pretty sic. i live up in Canada so i don`t really see many.

    but yeah nice vid!

  • They can be. unless its Coal, freight & intermodal, you wont get very good lash-ups. But you Canadian's sure as hell know how to run passenger trains! Unlike Amtrak -.-

  • haha yeah. and yeah seeing a train without pulling any boxcars is rare!

at the station i usually only see one locamotive only leaving for about 1 mile to change tracks..

  • Thinking about it, it was probably heading to Connelsville for helper duty or yard work farther down the line

  • Nice catch! Now if you catch the only remaining SD50 in YN1 I wanna see that!

  • Thanks O' Brian! Yea lol so would i.

  • actually i dont yet. Most likely not until m-bay maybe

  • I caught a YN1 SD40-2 #8368. Cool! And nice footage with new camera!

  • Cool if you have A VID OF IT POST IT HERE and thnxs

  • Awesome Catch!!

  • Thxs

  • Awesome catch!

  • Thanks!

  • ES44DC #5214, SD60M #8737. Its the first 2 engines, oh and I caught CSX SD40-2 #8046 in YN1 paint pulling Q261-24.

  • Thanks, i noticed that earlier and just fixed it, and tahts interesting! Post it as a repsonse
