Guys as I continue to watch several streaming videos of this tragedy I came to a conclusion that this was not just Ondoys doing but the flash flood really came from a water reservoir of some sort that was released or busted! I have seen rains that last several days but did not bring about such streaming flood! I hope I am wrong but this is worth looking into.

Typhoon Milenyo have stronger winds compared to Typhoon Ondoy but Typhoon Ondoy drops more rainfall compared to Typhoon Milenyo, I think ^_^

I've also read that Typhoon Ondoy dumped more rain compared to Hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans in Louisiana USA

I think this is a CALL for all to be more aware that this is one of the effects of what we've done to our environment. There's too much emission of gasses, Carbon Monoxide, Chlorofluorocarbons, etc., damaging our atmosphere and the ozone layer. In the mountains, excessive cutting of trees is prevalent. There would be no more forest cover to hold water when it rains.

No one can interpret the Mayan calendar right, yes the Mayans were a very advanced civilization, but their calendars were based off of one of their gods killing themselves as sacrifices, so the calendar of 2012 can well indicate the end to another god or a prediction to the turning point in the world when civilization has transformed to a more advanced place, a change in humanity, that has yet to be seen. So for all of the ignorant people out there, the earth will not be destroyed in 2012.
