Get a good keyboard like Korg,M-Audio,or Roland,go ahead and spend about $600-1000 then once you get the hang of it get a beat machine then get some software and maybe a Mac.If you want to get started just get FL studio 8 or Reason 4.0,I would start with Fl studio.
