Oleta added a great deal to this album, the whole thing is an awesome album, I would recommend it to anyone, not a bad song on it period. There are 2 albums in history I would recommend and one is this one, the other is Duran Duran, the Wedding Album, it is just like this one, not ONE bad song on the whole thing. You don't run across that very often, but please take my word for it, you won't regret it, I promise!!! ♥

@slowhandete Well, they just played an outdoor concert poolside here in Vegas last Friday. The weather was great, and the music was even better. They sounded excellent. I will admit, they struggled just a bit vocally on a couple of songs, but you gotta hand it to them for not using tracks. Whoever I told they were playing, right away made the association that they were "80s music" but good music is good music and transcends time. This song was one of the best moments from the show.

Oleta still lives in the Kansas City area to this day with her drummer husband. What a wonderful true lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her in 2003. What an awesome talent. Tears for Fears saw her performing at her regular gig in KC at a local hotel in the cocktail lounge and asked her to be on this song. She got her own recording contract thanks to them. The rest is history. :)

@MrRenato5150 Because this song was recorded at a time when Phil Collins was "the guy" when it came to this sort of thing. Phil is one of the best rock drummers of the past 40 years. Everyone criticizes him because he gained a lot of fame...but that shouldn't take away from the fact that he is an outstanding drummer...and lots of folks have called upon him to share his two cents. His drumming took this song from "really good" to "great". Tears for Fears had a drummer...they didn't use him.

I have felt this way most of my life. And now since I am my true self I feel as I have broke those chains. And this song has always brought a tear to my eyes and still does. It is such a powerfully emotional song. I really don't know how to explain it into words how I feel when I hear this song. Just such a beautiful song.
