  • Great Footage. Probably the only colour film to survive?

    Shame no cars were preserved.

    Very Interesting, Thanks!

Always wondered what all the tracks were in Thorold.

  • GREAT FIND

  • Great video! I wondered who signed the papers to destroy the NS&T streetcars, then I saw the '50s Panama-hat-wearing men with horn-rimmed glasses and decided a lot of people were probably glad when that person died! Thanks for not editing out the Gardenia in the locks at the end, that was cool.

  • How does this video only have 343 views? This is the history of the city basically right here. I still find remains of the NS&T in present day, and old ROWs that once had the tracks of the various lines. If even the majority of the tracks remained today in the city, tourism would be through the roof, and the city's great history would be, for the most part, preserved. My Grandfather knows/remembers alot about the system, so I can learn lots from him. He has an O-scale layout of it as well.

  • Great video. Do you have any other NS&T videos?

  • These cars made money right up to the last. If CN hadn't been so determined to close it all down it might still be running today.
