  • FUN ^_^

  • The funny thing is they're actually just free falling, and even tough their relative position to the airplane only varies slightly, they're moving fast and accelerating towards the planet.

Think of it as "indoors skydiving".

  • @atan0k Well the same thing happens with anything that's orbiting the Earth, such as the ISS. However the ISS is just moving so fast that it can hold itself in orbit instead of plummeting back to Earth.

  • lol noclip cheat!

  • That Looks AWESOME im gonna do that this year for my B-DAY

  • LOLOLOLOL

    `

    sv_cheats 1

    sv_gravity 0

    `

  • @JimTheMingebag

since when Carmak has been using half life console cheats?

  • @unutmayacagimbirnick Since Half-Life engine is a modified Quake 2 engine, and as such uses alot of the same console commands.

  • @AKhellbindeR

lol, this will make sense if quake engine was a modified half life engine. There isn't sv_cheats in quake. It's specific for half life engine. He doesn't have any releation with half life engine. Most importantly, half-life engine was a heavly modified Quake 1 engine. Not Quake 2.

  • @unutmayacagimbirnick Regardless, same company and the same programmers. sv_cheats might not be in Quake 1, alot of console commands are the same.

  • @unutmayacagimbirnick

    regardless, this doesn't make sense.

  • nerds.. all nerds, I'm tellin ya! :)

  • Armadillo Aerospace Console

    ;noclip

    oops !! jk

    lol @ vid, nice found.

  • i hope that one day all the gamers of the world would have the opportunity to feel zero-G like John Carmack.AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hahah yeah set_Gravity -10

  • That must be fun!

  • oops i mean

    g_gravity 0

    lolz

  • lol n1

  • sv_gravity 0!!!

  • Good old Quake! ;) Activate noclip too and you have your "Bad Hair Day" - as John Carmack would say (quote from "DooM III" ;)

  • awesome! good to see him take some break outta programming :D

  • johns hair looks funny cuz of the zero g

  • gravity: pwns us all

  • PART #1 John Carmack gets superupper cut

PART #2 John Carmack the Flying Dragon

PART #3 John Carmack human gyroscope

PART #4 John Carmack human battering ram Cool Vid

  • LOL i wanna try that out !

  • lol, my school also does parabolic flights

  • omg i want too!!!

  • That must be so great!

Why don't they do some parabolas on ordinary passenger flights (so you can ride that great, without spending all your money)?

It doesn't need much of modification to the planes to do that.

  • lucky bastard

  • lol omg that looks fun

  • this is awesome....

  • Was that Carmack trying to armbar his buddy at zero G? :D

  • That. Just. Looks. Like. So GODDAMN FUN!!!1 =D

  • Lucky...I wanna do that so bad xD

  • me wanna! :(

  • I want to take a dojo full of karate students up and let them create. Now me, I consider myself lucky that I can spell karate, but I drive past the dojos, I know where they are, and if I only had the money, I'd stop in and offer them a ride. Bet they'd take me up on it. I might get a "free" bodyguard out of the deal.

  • true!!

  • well technically no human has ever experienced true zero g. something in orbit is still free falling. even when escape velocity was reached on the way to the moon, the astronauts were free falling around the sun... since they were still in orbit around it. but if you define zero g as a feeling of no gravity within your reference frame, then zero g can be attained on a plane like this. but they appeared to be simulating micro gravity... not full on zero g

  • Theres no place in the universe where you wont experience some very very very small amount of gravity

  • yes this is true

  • 0:07, i laughed my ass off!

  • Notice how all of them are nerdy and ugly? Last resort lives.

  • Nerds ftw!!!

  • /g_gravity 0

  • might be for referance material... vary nice

  • My greatest idol! I wonder how it would be to play Quake in zero-G, it's probably fundamentally awesome :)
