Very interesting strategy. I am wondering why you used a Prominance M1. That late in the game the Quasar should have been accessable.
My strategy for this part of the level is to walk over to the other 3 VTs not part of Xray team and activate them. They and Xray take a lot of the fire away from me, allowing my to take out all the enemies on one side of the bridge. Then I resupply. Also, I go for the rifle and missile launcher + Rail.
