  • well yeah if i held a controller like 0:11 i might need a robot to help me too

  • kang foo!

  • the robot is expensive too

  • the Robot Operating Buddy (R.O.B.)

totally suck, they only had to games and the fu*king robot is so slow and fre*king noisy

  • all good i wanna play the game DA CUNT! 0:27s

  • ohmygosh, it's so old !

  • ROB was included because the toy stores wouldn't sell the NES without having a "toy" of some sort.

  • i loved kung foo!!!

i never knew anyone with the robot though.

  • @johnnybeane:

the robot (ROB) sucked nintendo just included it cuz it allowed the to sell the NES as a toy, not as a video game system which was important cuz of the critical situation in america back then (video game crash of 83/84).

ppl didnt want to buy a video game system, so nintendo marketed it a a toy. clever. lol.

  • Holy crap! Did you see all the accessories that came with it ? ? ?

Plus 2 games!! Are you kid'n me ? Dang I wish now days the systems came with all that stuff.

    Sheesh! LOL

  • They do, They're all sold seperately though.

  • LOL Well I know...that's what I'm saying...

it would be nice if all of the accessories were included with the system...plus 2 games : )

  • they did that because home video games were not popular then and with all of that stuff in one package more people would buy it

  • omfg...that comercial is soooooooo old,its annoying...

  • you guys with your comment placements need to get your dicks broke , besides that rob was the bomb

  • I love the nintendo but they had some really stupid hardware to go with it. ROB, power glove, power pad etc.

  • These peripherals was really just there to get past the mistrust that the market had of video game systems due to the video game crash of 1983. This is especially true of ROB, with very few games, they simply latched on to the success of the film "Short Circuit", and sold the NES as a robot with games. Fortunately for us, it worked!

  • From May 1985.
