very imilar to a mothers loves a blessing, someone asked me to play it at a funeral recently for a scottish mother of two who was killed outside her home by a car, i said you dont want me to play that one son, he insisted, i played, about 200 people started crying at the same time as we piped her into the kirk. powerful tunes, thank you brother...
@finnbarrhagan Thanks - I hadn't heard "A Mother's Love's a Blessing" before, but it's beautiful. The settings I found would have to be transposed to fit into the pipe's register. Do you have the score or did you learn it by ear and transpose? I would like to add it to my repertoire.
@bobmcmichael nice on the smallpipes, im doing a nice macrimons lament at the moment, ill try and record it fer ya. regards, finn... learnt it by ear, comprimise a few notes if you have to, its a magic tune especially if the words are sung...
