@hattoni no i don't think 600's are slow, i'm just saying it wasn't that big of an accomplishment seeing as it was probably a modded out car while the bike was probably stock with a slip on. id like to see the car take the bike without a roll on and from a dead stop. I bet the 600 would be a challenge for it then. i was stating the fact that i would of been impressed if he beat a liter bike with nothing more than a slip on because his car was definitely tricked out while i doubt the bike was.
Just possible if the Turbo gets the corrado up to about 500 Hp. If the VR6 just got ~ 300 Hp the Gixxer is down to 34 Hp. No way you can beat 125 Hp Bike with a Corrado...

Crazy fast car for sure but I must say, a more experienced rider would have made a much more interesting race. TWO major mistakes I can point out for the rider:
1. His riding position is too high which is creating unnecessary drag. Ass back and hug that tank. I'm 6'2" and on my '05 R6 I can be fully inside the windscreen pocket.
2. He needs to shift clutchless. Not only faster but saves unnecessary wear on the bike.
sorry but the guy with the gixxer shift way too early, a 600cc the power is at the top end !!! and he is not powershifting, this guy is clearly not a race pilot, a good rider with any 600cc would easly beat you...
I can understand this as the car has more torque due to the much larger engine and the added turbo mean the car has the advantage of the rolling start. I can also tell the bike backed off as it was staying with the car at first. I would like to see the car go against the bike from a standing start, I would bet money on the bike beating the car!

@jocky102 - what I said is totally true, especially on a heavily modified large displacement turbocharged engine, why would a 2.0 diesel putting out 150bhp leave a petrol 2.0 putting out 150bhp on a rolling start but on a 0-62 sprint the petrol win? That is due to the torque of the diesel, the petrol will have around 145lb/ft of torque and the Derv would have around 230lb/ft. This is why you have to wind a bike up. I know, I have all three, petrol & derv cars & a VFR800. Dumb cunt!

@nutsack1888 You don't need that much power to hang with a 600 from a roll in a 2500lb car. A VRT can make enough power with a stock motor to do so. Also, 1/4 mile is alot different than racing from a roll. Look at the trap speed and it'll tell the true story of who will win from a roll. VR6 turbos tend to turn into freight trains on the back half of the 1/4, if you know what i mean..
@akaDannylo yeah i agree above 125mph stock 600s might be vulnerable but a decent stage 2 tune (maybe £1500) would spice things up. Look the super 6s at the isle of man are hitting over 180mph with maybe £3k spent on the engines. My point was that 600s rev like fuck and the power only starts coming at 9000rpm.. therefore it might sound like they are getting thrashed but they aint. 600s scream

Would like to see a 0-299 kmh from a standing start against a proper 1000cc bike ''R1,Fireblade,BMWrr'' etc (not a VTR as there not really that quick) I'm sure we'll see a totally different result.
Though the result with the 600cc is seams right, watch the vid and you see the bike surge forward in the high 100's low 200's and then the cars torque kicks in rendering the bikes weight advantage useless ''UND TSCHUS''

Ja, ab 110 km/h. Keine große Leistung, der Wagen hat viel mehr Auflagefläche durch die Reifen. Plus Turbo, was erwartet ihr? Rolling start ist für Motorräder mit nur 600cc ein Problem. Selbst wenn sie auf Drehzahl ausgelegt sind wie dieser Motor der Gixxer.

@BanditGN77B hab es ja wieder zurückgenommen mit den 110..... trotzdem hat ein auto immer mehr auflagefläche ob jetzt im stand oder wie hier bei 110 also ist das schwachsinn was du da geschrieben hast..... zudem fahr ich nen corrado und ich weis was da sache ist ...die meisten hier staunen nicht das der des mofa abzieht sondern wie schnell der an dem lkw vorbei ist.... das der corri ne monster leistung hat sieht man ja sehr deutlich ich wette das selbst aus dem stand die 600er keine chance hat.

This Corrado has no chance against the big Sportbikes.
Also against the next bigger one, the GSXR750 with 148 bhp.
And this would cost much less than this tuned Corrado.
And a typical sportbike have ~1000ccm.
Either you have money for a sports car or less money and are quicker with a sport bike.

im sorry but my old 1999 R6 trashes 880bhp metro 6r4s and a dubsport 750bhp twin engined MK2 golf at santapod so this is questionable. 600s rev then they go nuts. That bike just reved. The end

@nutsack1888 You don't need that much power to hang with a 600 from a roll in a 2500lb car. A VRT can make enough power with a stock motor to do so. Also, 1/4 mile is alot different than racing from a roll. Look at the trap speed and it'll tell the true story of who will win from a roll. VR6 turbos tend to turn into freight trains on the back half of the 1/4, if you know what i mean..

@akaDannylo yeah i agree above 125mph stock 600s might be vulnerable but a decent stage 2 tune (maybe £1500) would spice things up. Look the super 6s at the isle of man are hitting over 180mph with maybe £3k spent on the engines. My point was that 600s rev like fuck and the power only starts coming at 9000rpm.. therefore it might sound like they are getting thrashed but they aint. 600s scream
