I guess this is pretty good for a cartoon horse, but not the neck maybe.. But if someone wants to learn how to draw a more realistic horse, don't look at this. Watch another tutorial. If you want to draw unrealistic horses, you can follow this ;)

The only thing I would say against this video is that it's annoying when the camera pulls away from the drawing. The camera should stay on the paper the whole time.  Other than that it was very good. A good starting point anyway.

That's a better donkey drawing, because horses have much more slender faces, so you would need to elongate that face and narrow it down

i reckon that the reason ppl r saying hes not good enuff for a professional standard is cos his drawing is more cartoonish.he shows signs that if he wanted to draw more of a realistic horse than he would be great. like the muscle tone,the eye,the shape of face etc r where he shows knowledge n skill.but i must admit the way he did the neck makes the horse look like a camel:p

The head is so much narrower in the forehead and less spherical in the muzzle. Forelock comes out from between the ears, sweeping forward from a point behind the ears, not sideways. Ears need to be narrower and taller. Your neck is an ewe neck which is not a good thing. A horse's neck should be more outward then up and down. Forehead up top needs to be straight if not caved in a bit. Square off the upper lip and you need a bigger chin. Shin goes out not up. Cheek is a half-circle.

A big pet peeve of mine is the eye. A horse pupil is NOT circular, it is actually a horizontal oval.

Have a look at this picture:

And you will see what I mean. Animal anatomy is overly, extremely important even when drawing cartoonish animals.

I like your work, but you should either end the clip with the camera zooming out, allowing a full shot at the picture, or use a still picture. You have the same problem in your other clips (or to be honest, we have the problem, because you obviously already know how to draw...).

This is a good video for beginners. When I started, I used the circles like he did. But, once you get better, you can just draw what you see. Keep practicing the way he does. I promise you will get better;) His technique is a little difficult, though. So do not get discouraged. After a while it is soooo much fun drawing horses. (Once you get the shading and mane and eyes down).

franchement appart les yeux et encor c'est assez mal dessiner,les oreilles sont trop eloigné,les naseaux trop petit,la bouche trop large et les crins part vers la guauche alor qu'ils devrait lui tomber sur son chanfrain,la ganache et trop pointu,l'encolure trop fine et trop concave,les trait de la tete sont trop marquée et la tete est trop petite,je pense qu'il pourrait faire mieux mais en bcp plus de temps.and please don't tell me i'm a kid who don't know anything,i ride a horse fore 10 years

@bertyn03 actually, I must say that this is one of his weaker drawings. The neck of a horse usually slopes the other direction; the nose is way big for an elegant Arabian. His wolf drawing is better...

this does not look like an araibian they have a prominent scoop on the nose bridge and an arched neck

(no matter what kinda arab even tenesee walking horses still show their arab past)

the forelock (the hair between the eyes) does not go that way

It went a little fast, as I was going step-by-step with you, and when you zoom out, it's hard to tell what you're doing, so I get confused. So, a nice on-paper shot strictly will help people get a better idea of what you're doing. But far better than the other, and I thank you. Nice job. :]

And as for a basic horse, I think this looks just fine. And a quick sketch, looks good.
