Upendra Trivedi presented so many gujarati folk songs with Snehlata in the golden period of Gujarati movies rivaling Hindi movies in 1960s, 70s and 80s with many stories collected from barots of oral tradition and written down by writers like Zaver Chand Meghani and Kanaiyalal Maneklal Munshi from history of Gujarat. He did great service to Gujarat with his brother Arvind Trivedi. The song quality is as good as classical Hindi movie songs.
