  • Amazing film, unforgettable. I'd love to be able to see what these boys are seeing!

  • thanks for sharing - this is so great!

  • Thanks Uncle!

  • Well, this is truly a long and a serious ritual. Defining the word "ritual" by all means. This is only the beginning, and the boy is in trance. Creative by Sleazy yet the music is Godly

Many souls have left this mortal coil this year. Devastating

  • Oh man,,he was really onto something here..Thankyou Peter! God Bless you, you old sod.

  • <3 Sleazy, RIP.

  • I don't know why I keep coming back to this. So strangely beautiful, like everything else Sleazy has done.

  • Rip Sleazy <3

  • This video is just one of the many great things Peter left us all.

    RIP Uncle Sleaz :-(

  • Thank You for showing me light, Peter. Good night and good luck.

    "November 24, 2010

    R.I.P. Peter Christopherson

The sad news has reached us that Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson has died in his sleep last night at the age of 55. Chris Carter twittered "Our dearest beautiful Sleazy left this mortal coil as he slept in peace last night. Words cannot express our grief." and the TG site simply displays the message "Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson 1955 - 2010".

  • So very very pretty and moving.

  • This video is amazing and it never fails to give me goosebumps and raise the hairs on the back of my neck and arms... I get chills every time i watch it. Definitely amazing stuff that gives you food for thought.

  • Creepy!

  • This just makes me want to move to Thailand straight away. Amazing feel to this music and video.

  • is like getting first haircut?

  • WONDEFUL!

  • this song in combination with the video is so freaking scary.

  • This video is probably my favorite right now. No one else does it like this. Whether it's TG, Coil, or Peter himself, always amazes me. Really inspiring stufff.

  • It's so difficult to relate trance and bliss just by watching someone , perhaps , experience it . . .

I say better to experience it first hand ... but this IS a lovely document , nontheless ! ... dougie in austin , tx .

  • bliss

  • The sleazy one never fails to deliver.

  • going to see him in Antwerp tomorrow

  • Ekstasis

  • menudo ciego que lleva el chaval en lo alto.

  • Thats pure joy in every sense.

  • Thank you. Its a wonderful piece. Thanks sleazy!

  • FIERCE!!

    Sleazy is still well under-rated

  • Incredible work. Beautiful, enchanting, and haunting all at once. Too bad I can't find the whole work. I have the album, the music itself is incredible on it's own, but not the film sadly.

  • When I first listened to the entire album it didn't impress me so much but deeper listening made me change my mind. I consider this as a release of Coil, and on of their finests.

  • beautiful music

  • This stuff is real magic. And definitely not necessarily in the best sense of the word. Definitely not in the pissy "I'm a spell-casting candle burning I believe in Mother Nature" Goth sense in the word. It's gods, demons, ghosts, risk and danger. Real. It's what Cristoperson and Coil have been trying to convince us of all along.

  • Jesus - I can't believe the banal level of commentary that this post has descended into. I mean whether there's pedophiliac aesthetic here. I mean for fucks sake. Do any of you know what you're watching? This boy is being possessed by a spirit/demon/god whatever you believe, and becomes a spirit-medium, channeling a god, which is why all those people circle round him as if in worship. This isn't some "haha well that's pretty dodgy" stuff, this is full on stuff. Just watch parts 2-5.

  • "banal level of commentary"?? On YouTube? That NEVER happens. /sarcasm

  • I cant find any other parts on youtube

  • You can buy the whole DVD at the Threshold House website in their Shop. At 50 UK pounds it's a little expensive but worth it if you can afford it. Christopherson has "karma watermarked" each DVD to stop people copying it LOL (ie if you copy & distribute it you will collect bad karma) Anyway, I respect that, so my suggestion is - go buy the CD/DVD pack. Worth it!

  • Sorry it's 25 pounds. Not 50. Not so bad for a CD/DVD twin pack.

  • Beautiful, the music's so melancholic, but the video is somehow scary as well.

  • fine Coil post-violent death extension but the video is clearly paedophilian-minded, and I'm no Xian stuff or anything not related to nothing... sounds clear, uh...

  • This commentary was ment to be a "?"

  • you only see what you want to see. I didnt see that, i saw much more.

  • гениальный ебанько всетаки!

  • lol (for comment below)

Honestly though, this is great stuff. Just heard Sleazy's other project 'Soisong'. Go to that My Space :)

    It's worth hearing!

  • hahahaha! this is so amusing! ol' Sleazy watching fresh young boys in Thailand! and in slow motion! so telling! he's not going to convince me his interests are purely spiritual! :"D and naming his new project Threshold House Boys Choir...! hilarious!

for those who may dislike the tone of my comment > go and watch my videos, i'm sure you'll find a few where i watch sexy dudes (that are younger than me anyway). i hope that would add a bit of a self-ironic twist to this comment :"D

  • Sex is, necessarily, spiritual. And your videos are great. If not entirely spiritual Aah, what do I know?

  • I dont remember sleazy saying his interests were purely spiritual. Anyway, why seperate sexuality from spirituality? Thats what the judeo-christian tradition do. I believe the two are intrinsic radim.

  • Sleazy is the man this is great is there an album i really need to get this .

  • Setting: GinJae festival in Thailand, where boys in trance perform various extreme physical acts (cheek piercing etc) to scare off malign spirits and so serve the community.

  • Stuzzadelick had me floatin'

  • Do you have another parts of the "Form Grows Rampant"? I've been searching for them through the net, but didn't find any..

  • Go to the Threshold House website. You can purchase the whole thing there.

  • I like the live version better, more echo. I like echo

  • Can anyone explain the origins of this video to me?

    What is happening?

    Who are these boys?

    What country is it?

  • GinJae Festival, Krabi, south Thailand

  • It is a Buddhist ceremony. They are going into trance to be "possessed" by a deity/spirit. When the boy jumps up and hits the table, it signals he is now possessed. He is worshipped as a god until the deity leaves his body. The boys are poor, homeless guys who follow a spiritual leader. The DVD was shot in Krabi Town, Thailand. It's part of the Thai "Vegetarian" or Ginjae Festival.

  • Where did you get this information? I highly doubt it's true. In Thailand the Buddhism is Theravada. In that tradition, first of all, only monks are practicing, especially such advanced rituals, as you're describing (and the boys aren't dressed as a monks). And secondly, deities and spirits in Buddhism are only worshiped as a part of Tantra practices, which is not common in Theravada tradition.

  • Well, I checked about this GinJae festival. Everything's true, but it has nothing to do with Buddhism.

  • Buddhism is a highly syncretist religion. It's not that easy to say "This is Buddhism" or "That isn't Buddhism". The festival has its origins in China. It's not strictly Buddhist as such, but then either are Thai spirit houses, yet heaps of Thai Buddhists own one of those and worship the spirits living in them. The idols, which are not shown in this video, which overlook the ceremonies are very much Buddhist, so it's definitely an important element of this festival.

  • its probably a mix of shamanistic practices with the religion of the region; buddhist and chinese shamanistic beliefs

  • This is some great stuuf here.

  • Wow I don't care what anyone says, Sleazy is thee most underrated yet best musician in the past 100 years

  • This is doing to electronic music the same thing that trout mask replica did to rock
