  • it touches my heart...

  • This tune is in one of my Snow globes beautiful tune but its faster :) and high pitched more

  • Oh breaking not braking

  • I feel my heart braking this is beautiful. By the way I'm fifteen and detest rap so don't talk trash about my generation some of us have true taste.

  • @pljrules i appreciate your comments pljrules! i am 63 with a 24 yr old daughter and 21 year old son who have such a wide array of genres they enjoy. I do too........I've sung professionally since a teen..........but this kind of music melts me---inspires me---i just feel like flying........soaring.......oh my as i listen just now, i've got a serious case of it. --jack

  • I love this song! It has been a favorite of mine since watching "Somewhere in Time" back in the 80's! It is the most beautiful music I've ever heard!

  • David Osborne gets requested at The White House. He's the "Pianist To The Presidents"!

  • awesome stuff brother! j~

  • this piece itself is "the sound of silence" and Emile actually makes the silence sing beautifully. I prefer his rendition to Maksim's which is far flashy for the song's nature.

  • It Is So quiet,, So lovely ..So Amazing Beautiful...!

    It is Unique.....

  • This arrangement is beautiful, but in my opinion no one can touch Dino Kartsonakis' arrangement.

  • Absolutely no one can touch this version. The keys absolutely ooze emotion. The most beautiful rendition of John Barry's song I have ever heard.

  • LABLAB!!! SOMEWHERE IN TIME...

  • I know, how to play this.

    -Patrick Andie

  • My god that's beautiful...

  • I didn't know this song existed. I heard it while watching a Tyrone Power tribute video. I fell in love with it immediately and started searching out the best version of it I could find. This is the one. The only thing wrong with it is, it's too short. It could have gone on and on for a MUCH longer time. Beautiful!

  • Bravo!! Beautiful!!

  • I have to play this for piano lessons. I can't really play it but i keep listening to this and cry every time i hear this

  • @SuperChandler98 lucky you!! :) good song to learn with. i would be a very contented student

  • Probably the solo version of this wonderful music I have heard.

    Thank you for the pleasure.

  • Oh My Goodness... This is music to soothe the weary .. How Beautiful !!! I am in Anderson and just heard about you... I MUST see you in concert !!! Bravissimo !!!!!!!

  • This man should be so much more famous that he is, absolutely incredible.

  • wow.... lovely

  • Cool!!

  • What key is this???

  • Csaba, My Seattle Boyfriend- Can I keep YOU!

  • absolutely amazing!

  • In my imagination I would take my Mother on a cruise on Carnival Miracle and Pandolfi would be playing music in the lounge. She wouldn't be sick anymore and she would meet a nice gentleman who would ask her to dance. And I would sit there so happy that she had her moment.

  • I love how Emile Pandolfi plays the piano. He makes the songs so romantic and magical. When he plays the music turns into pictures in my mind. He is a daydreamy piano player.

  • Beautiful!

  • Absolutely magnificent.

  • Wow. I'm speechless with all the comments! Thanks for the kind words! This is why I love playing the piano. I get to express myself and people appreciate it!

  • @emilepandolfi Mr. Pandolfi, I understand that you live here in Greenville. My wife and I moved here seven years ago and love it here. Do you ever do concerts or recitals, because I would love to come and hear you play. Beautiful.

  • @speedviper47 Hi! As a matter of fact, I do! Head over to my Facebook fan page and Twitter account because I post concert updates there. I believe the links are in the description of this video. I'd love to have you come to one of my concerts. See you and thanks for the wonderful comments!

  • I think this one is my favourite Mr Pandolfi

  • Emile it's a nice arrangement and it just reminds me that is one of our love affair theme song that we played MIDI together with a St. Paul Nun we have a four years secret love affair. It was a very exciting and unforgettable mementos we shared together while she was still in SPC Pasig, but ended in a sad separation when she drop me off to another lover priest she meet when she was reassigned in Tuguegarao SPCU. I feel teary eyed overtime I hear this piano piece. I also wrote the lyrics 4 her

  • So beautiful....soothing to the heart and soul...Thank you for posting!

  • I just hope that I've discovered Emile when I was younger. I'm sure I would have taken up piano because he's so inspiring. He's also pretty cool to his fans. I get to talk to him on his fan page. Just search for Emile Pandolfi on Facebook. He also has a Twitter account EmilePandolfi. I've been bugging him to perform in my country and he said that he'll look into it!

  • Surely the best musical score ever?

Bravo!

  • Extraordinary pianist - yes - possibly the world's greatest.

  • Stupenda come il canto del mio amore mentre amo!

    Grazie! :)

  • the fact that this song is so pretty, makes me cry a little.

  • This Interpretation, by Emile, is just the Raw Emotion, of a Man at his Piano, pouring his heart out... without all the "flowery", "over-embellished", theatrical, or orchestral "machinations"... It's simply, a private moment of "Spiritual", expression... Beautifull

  • @philippgs = It's true! Sometimes an overabundance of sounds can take away from the essence of the message in the music. beginning @ 1:50 min = Crescendo of the Heart!

  • I listened to all version of this music but I think "Maksim" is my favorite and John Barry next, but I like to listen to them all, I watched the movie of this and It just take me out of this world.....

  • While being technically impressive, I find this interpretation to be somewhat rushed and speeding through some of the finer notes. But thats just my opinion.

  • @gsl1989 No, it wasn't. It wasn't a famous pianist.

  • Bellisima version ...Muy Buena ! Congratulations !

  • The simplest, most sublime, interpretation ever... Thank You!

  • If a man can get choked up hearing this song, It hits the mark.

  • I purchased this sound track from the movie "Somewhere in Time" when the movie came out. My mom would listen to it and cry and cry. It just makes you think about everything sad that has ever happened to you. I love it so much.

  • Realmente, é uma interpretação fantástica! Parabéns

  • My goodness this is absolutely amazingly beautiful I could listen to this forever :)

  • is there any sheet music for this version?

  • I love your arrangement of the music score. Very wonderful & pretty good. Can I have the piano score please ? Could you pls tell me how I can get it ? So grateful if I could get one.

  • I really like his rendition. He plays softly where needed and his fingering is great. He is playing it how he feels, how it moves him. I also like his cresendo at the end. The softness of the keys at the very end. Superb!

  • This guy is obviously very good. The embellishment variations are impressive.

  • The bass notes of this piece make the heart cry, The whole piece makes the soul cry. I am not a fan of modern music, I am more into classical, But this has just touched me in a way that some other pieces from the classical era has not.

  • Mamma Mia Che Meraviglia, Splendore Che, musica Che, versatilità Che ...

    Grazie Dal Cuore

    Sal: o)

  • The cool unclammy contact on the ivory, this piece was conducted from the heart.

  • i wish i could play a piano like that

  • beautiful!

  • inLuv : |

  • I want this score....can anyone help????

  • Ahh yes...this is the version I was looking for. This is what I have on my ipod.

  • I think this is the best version I have ever heard, and I have heard them all. The way he slows it down at 47 seconds into the song, made this the very best.

  • i love this song and its beautiful and makes me wanna cry lol. but my mom used to listen to this all the time. it was her and my dads wedding song. but then he died. i always think of him when i hear this song. and i saw the movie about two years ago and thought it was amazing. and my mom has been to that place where they shot it about 2 or 3 times. anyways i luv this song so much

  • Some artist have the ability to make you feel the music in your heart and mind. Pandolfi shares his artistry with all of us in this piece of exquisite music.

  • Jeez I wish I could play like that, I don't think I have enough practice years left. Very nice.

  • this song was mentioned by a new found friend that i fell for..but i dont know where he is now... somewhere in time...

  • haha i know right. everyones so cheesy and emotional.

  • So good.

I'm trying to relearn this piece, it's been at least 10 (possibly 15) years :/

btw....has anyone ever heard the Michael Crawford vocal version of this song?

  • Perfect example of a melody that benefits from simplicity. So many adaptations go way off the beaten path. Perfect.

  • there was a guy on youtube who had an amazing version of this song, which actually was better than this one. I had him on my favorites but he suddenly dissapeared. I'm sad I don't remember his name now.

But congratz, this also was a great interpretation!

  • watch?v=YkKue_MEnkk

version by Croatian artist Maksim Mrvica.

  • @robertamw This his better than Maksim's. wanna know why? bcoz this "version" is playing in solo unlike Maksim's, he played with an orchestra or whatever and Maksim's video is showing his face with dramatic expressions or whatever even though the song isn't about him.......................sorry

  • @hannahmitzi I'm sorry, but I never said it was Maksim's version( his one is quite poor). The version I was talking about was from an unknown pianist.

  • @robertamw oh......im sorry..i wasnt thinking well

  • am i gay when i get goose bumps around 1:50?

  • There is absolutely nothing 'gay' about appreciating an awesome musical performance. This type of music speaks to our souls if we only listen - amazing!

  • @memlane3696 yes, this music is absolutly fantastic, but the smart people know's that this music is fantastic, in fact, u dont have to expllain if is gay or not (:

  • amazing

  • BEst Rachmaninoff

    I love u!

  • thanks it is beautiful

  • ...enchanting.

  • wow..the music is really fantastic..

  • I've seen him in concert and even exchanged e-mails with him...a truly unique talent and vastly underappreciated

  • Oh Yes ! This is the best version I have heard, congratulations on a wonderful performance.

  • If you love his music, you must find a way to see him perform live!! Such an enthralling performance and he is so personable with the audience. You get swept away with the music and suddenly two hours have slipped away. He is really a one of a kind performer. I have ALL of his CD's. I'd love for him him to do a dvd so the whole world could share in his talent.

  • gah all his concerts are in america...

  • amazing. i've been looking for this song forever! thnx

  • OMG thank you, it's gorgeous.
