It was very good parody of the things that were wrong with the episode, but, for a bit of a light-hearted romp, which is all it was meant to be, I thought Planet of the Dead was pretty good. It's not supposed to be Doctor Who meets 2001: A Space Odyssey. Plus, I'd rather watch it any day than the dull, derivative, repetetive, "how many variations can we find on a dinosaur?" antics of Primeval.

I'm not sure. Planet of the Dead was alright, but it couldn't match up to previous specials, but I suppose that might be due to the reshuffle that the programme was having then. I agree about the dinosurs tho. Primeval's gonna end up killing Barney, the way it's going
