in the last example, why don't you add an outlet for buttons?

imho, outlet is for code -> object, action is for object -> code(field).

@lhyx1990 ssince in this tutorial he wants to extract the value out of the textbox. In the last tutorial he didn't want to extract anything but the title of the button, which is rather complicated than just writing. button.text

someone help. when i click build i get an error on the @synthesise name;

and at the @synthesize password; please someone tell me why im getting this? "type of property 'name' does not match type of ivar 'name'

and it says the same thing for password but name being replaced with password. please some1 pm me or comment back, pm preferably

do the images all have to be a .png? I've used a .jpg and had no problem...at least on the simulator.

@haulbass17 nope there's no problem in using .jpg, u may use them as well.. but its preferred using .png in iphones as they hide background outline and borders which makes the characters more clear..
