I cant speak for the "newer" breed of Woman Marines, but when I was in, they were damn near useless unless they were behind a desk. The units I served in had NO FEMALES in them, but on deployments you run into them. I know when we were in the Gulf, the US ARMY had a ring of female Soldier prostitutes. All the shit I could talk about female Marines, I wouldnt call them hookers. Either way, they wore the Eagle, Globe and Anchor and we still called them MARINES. Like the males, they earned it.

@VoodooPolitico I served in Vietnam and the gulf war...Army and Marines. I was in the shits many times and the females were just as good as my males. Granted,the only females in 'nam,that I saw were the nurses. The females in Desert Storm did excellent work and put their lives on the line. To call your fellow soldiers "prostitues" is disgusting. Your problem is that you are a woman hater.

Did you even read my post? There WERE female US ARMY SOLDIERS that were working as PROSTITUTES in Kuwait. They were arrested and sent home. If you had actually read my post, I served in the Marine Corps. I had no "fellow soldiers". I had fellow MARINES, AND AS MY POST SAID, I wouldnt called female Marines hookers. Useless, yet not hookers, they were MARINES. You wouldnt know anything about it.

You guys have it better than us it seems. We tried making a really altered game of Horse shoes, but we got shut down quick. We slept in tents. The Marines had the dorm rooms. With the AC. I mean, as fun as it is sleeping in a tent with 60 other guys in the middle of the day (I worked at night) with no airflow... Worked on the B-1Bs as an electrical and enviromental specialist. Launching jets all damn day, blowing the fuck outta Tommy Taliban. Every branch has its desk jobs eh? lol

@swedesrule Female Airman... don't do shit. We send them to work in tool crib or debrief or give them the TCN deployments. Gets them off our hands for 4 months. We've had too many females, and only 1 has actually pulled her shit together to fix some damn jets. The rest are either too weak ( No joke) or too pampered to do anything. I think that they are a waste of taxpayer dollars.

@rarolland Thank you for that. Seems each 'army' and each branch of each army has it's own terminology. When we were first obliged to have females, they were known as 'DSOs' short for 'dreaded skirted ones'. That was many yearsago!
