I think one of the most HELPFUL things is using a brush to pick up your sections as you straighten them. I have been doing that for years and it seems to make the hair more straight and smooth!

@LilMissFatAss I totally know what you're talking about. My hair doesn't hold curl worth crap. That is until I learned how to curl it with a flat iron. It really does work, I promise. Look up a tutorial on how to curl with a flat iron and it will work. It takes a little practice, but once you get it you'll be really happy with the results because it really does hold with stick straight hair. Good luck! :)

Sam! Because you know a lot of hair I have a question for you I'd hope you can answer! :). I used Redken, Kerastase and Alterna hair shampoo's but still the day After washing it, my hair looks greasy and I know you should wash it twice with shampoo and than condition, I never put condition on my roots..I have fine but much hair .. I have no idea anymore what to do, I'm looking for a shampoo that's not to chemical. (I want good shampoo's without many products like Sulfate and such). Thanks a lot
