  • In 1962 my Dad, who is from near Bombay originally, took us to visit his family in India. We stayed for 6 months. This song played constantly on the radio and was number 1 on the "hit parade" for months. It is one of the pleasant memories of my childhood . . . I have not been to India since, but hope to visit again one day.
