Almost all intercontinental flights are within 38.000 to 41.000feet.

35.000feet is usually maintained on continental flights. But in anyway it all depends on which altitude the flight tower assigns to your aircraft. Continental flights can also fly at 40.000feet although thats not a usual procedure.

Fully loaded and fueled jumbojets rather use FL380 or lower on their IFR.

For most jumbojets FL350 is considered an average altitude. Remember that that is almost 11.5km, 41000feet is max
