@jkalbin All I can say is a lot of practice on focused areas, be it strickly alternate picking, legato etc, I dont practice a lot of different thing at one time I do a month on 2 techniques and the next month other things etc . . hope that helps

how did you pinch harmonic the last note? did you down strum twice? or did you start that riff with an up stroke instead of a down stroke? down strumming twice at that speed for a pinch harmonic would be extremely hard to do...kudos man!

Yeah upstroke I always pick outside of the strings be it next to each other or string skip, you know like PG does.

Oh yeah haha I just tried it now and it doesnt work, I think I just double picked after the B note to get the downstroke on the A, yeah I pick an upstroke while I slide down to A then I pinch.
