@s3t2tru I think there is a difference because this is a good RPG sure but its different from all the older ones this one goes to the shooter of RPG it kinda joins Deus Ex as for Baldurs Gate is more of a strategy RPG so i cant really say this is the best RPG cause in RPG's there are so many different ones

I want to go through the whole series as a Vanguard. Everyone is saying that you want to first play as a Soldier in order to get the Assualt Rifles and such. Now, does that mean I can just start a Soldier file and the I can use the Assual Rifle with the Vanguard? Please help.....

@CountNickula well first of all, no you have to get an achievement for kills enough enemies with ARs then you have the option to pick them as your bonus talent when you create your vanguard, and secondly believe it or not the pistols are superior to the ARs early and late in the game, especially for a vanguard.

@sommervilleTRS117 yeah basically, if you REALLY want to make a soldier and just keep playing eden prime over and over (the kills still count) using nothing but the AR, youll eventually get an achievement for it, I think its 150 kills. then when you crete your vanguard you can pick ARs as your bonus talent, but you have to have the achievement BEFORE you make your vanguard. and once again... pistols are seriously better in everyway, unless you just think the rifles look cool.

@snakeeyes119 Ye, when i finished the game as a sentinel (which is an epic class imo) i had to use the pistol throughout the entire game

This must be on Novice Difficulty or something because he like 1 shotted a Sapper witha shotgun from sort of far away :P All i play on is Insane, so i was like :O when i saw that lol Then i realized there were easier difficulties :P

I juse beat this game on vanguard...awesome....I was more pistol user than shotgun shooter

looking back on ME1 this version of the vanguard class looks boring compared to ME2

@lucyfaire1980 yes, most definetley worth it because it allows you to keep up to pace with the storyline, universe and chacters and ME2 allows you to import your completed ME1 save files to carry over your characters looks, name and decisions which shaped the story.

@lucyfaire1980 hell yes it is...plus since it is platinum hits its so its cheaper..and it comes with a dlc and plus ME 2 will make a bit more sense if you couldn't really catch on and never really get what was going on. Also like ME 2 this game has massive replay value
