  • Thank you Hannes, Ronnie, Kagiso, Western and KB . . .Practice makes perfect: you can expect sht sweetest sounds from the guys who've worn out the neck of their guitar.

  • thank you, o ntiretse letsatsi ka the song....

  • bieber is defenetly BIG to you guys...he is in every every video...omg

  • Hey people, this guy is singing about a DUCK!!!! which is ''Pidipidi'' in setswana, the language of Botswana, where this man comes from. It is just more of a poem of a duck.....!!!!

  • fuck it ill send um a guitar.

  • yeah it was sarcasm. just brought a smile to my face seeing a coloured guy singing about the b.n.p. or not as you have so rightly pointed out.

  • @TheStub2010 yes, that would be very very funny! I think he also mentions BDP, the Botswana Democratic Party, which are in power.

  • Other amazing thing is that this guitar doesnt even have the SIXTH string!!!!!!!!!

  • why is this guy singing about the bnp ???

  • @TheStub2010 i didn't catch BNP. Pidipidi sounds similar maybe and it means Duck in Setswana (the national language of Botswana). If he mentions BNP that's also likely, it stands for Botswana National Party, one of the country's main opposition parties.

    Cheers,

  • @tyresmoke get a sense of humour sweatheart.

  • @TheStub2010 honestly just clarifying a question that you asked, it's hard to tell if you were using sarcasm... b/c this is a text based internet comment.

  • Wow!!!

  • Wonderful :)))) Pro Gamer xD

  • Wonderful :))))

  • This smile on the beginning describes just everything.

  • ...And he's playing a guitar with one machine head missing, too!

  • pure talent!!

  • @sacrisangel Let's pray that someone famous is watching this fantastic man and gives him a job playing music on the international stage. Are you listening Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney etc? This man should be recording!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a totally wonderful musician - I have never seen guitar played this way.

The creativity of Africans never ceases to amaze me.

Best place for me every time - vive Africa!

  • @sacrisangel I agreed. Pseudo musician benfit form media promotion and marketing. Fews are really talented

  • 5 stars yea......but check out that guitar....... only 5 strings....sounds good for a piece of firewood!!!

  • @69bluesdude 4 strings actually ( A and G). But that's not what matters, you have to do with whatever the fuck you got and not give up, so let's give him props for that.

  • @2moonsrock I knew a guy that could play like this and the strings where made out of fishing line, plumb line from a construction site and some thin wires he found somewhere. You should see the guitars they play made out of empty 5 litre oil cans.

  • @69bluesdude In Africa we don't throw something away if it still sort of works, someone can still use it, or fix it to a point where it can be used. - yussie.co.za

  • This guy drop kicks justing bieber in the nuts and runs away with his virginity... that sounded better in my head.

  • I love this music!!!!

  • Way better than justin bieber!

  • @drum2survive Everything.

  • Thanks for sharing this video with the world!

From other online sites I gather that "KB" stands for Kabelo & that Kabelo is the brother of (Ronald) Ronnie Moipolai. KB is shown watching Ronnie play the guitar in the video that Bokete7 uploaded that's titled Botswana Music Guitar - Ronnie -"Happy New Year"!

I wish KB & Ronnie all the musical & financial success that they so clearly deserve.

    -an African American sista

  • You are absolutely amazing and insanely fun to listen to. Godspeed you magnificent bastard.

  • Great.

Is this really a recognised style of playing in Botswana ?

  • @johngotting yep.It is,just that the more often than not the guys play for an audience too poor to pay.Otherwise there is just so much talent in that fine country!

  • @johngotting

Its not really recognised, its really sad.

  • Really amazing. Puts me in a great mood.

  • Anybody can tell us what the song is about? The artist is simply great!
