It wouldnt be a sequel, id make it a prequel.. an origin story.. about how freddy became the springwood slasher. and 3/4 threw the movie id show how the parents got together and burned his ass! and how he became the dream dwelling psycho path he is! and i'd shoot it like grindhouse. grainy and old looking. the boogeyman sucked ass.. just another one of those pice of shit pg-13 horror flicks

I liked it, especially the clothes standing up (that would've been something Freddy would do, although he never really disguises himself) The only two negative points about this is that its not 'real' ANOES (too bad) and that it doesnt add up: Freddy lives in dreams, this was reality, cause the boy wasn't asleep, although he could be.

Using clips from the existing ANOES's wouldn't have worked as they don't reflect the darker, more serious tone I'm going for. The scene from Boogeyman does. I'll tell you like I told my class: if you come into this looking at it as Boogeyman, you will see Boogeyman. If you come into it looking at it as a visual representation for a concept you will see it as that.

Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you liked it. They were going for a darker look in New Nightmare and it works when he's in darkness or in dim lighting. But outside of that, yeah, it does look pretty bad. Despite that it is an awesome movie 2nd best in the series.
