  • shit this is sad..

  • She dumped Warren !

  • I realize this has nothing to do with acting or Warren...But DAMN!! is Diane Keaton sexy.

  • aww..

  • This broads just has no sense of fashion whatsoever...!

  • She should have shown up at Al Pacino's AFI, too.

  • @Shelby596 Diane still has hurt feelings toward Al Pacino..there's no way she would have went there. haha.. Anyway, Al Pacino also attended this event. :P

  • Warren Beatty is OUT OF THIS WORLD GORGEOUS!!! Even as a 70-something year old man he's sexier than most men on the planet! I love him so much, as an actor, director and person. And Diane Keaton is just the sweetest person ever, loved that speech! Plus, who didn't want to give Warren a hug (and a big wet kiss) when he was tearing up at the end?? :)

  • She is the bomb. She always gives very heartfelt tributes. She's so eloquent, authentic, and unique.

  • I really must see this movie she is discussing. I love the roles Diane Keaton, she hits my deepest passages of my heart. Very stunning actress.

  • ugly!

  • I love Diane Keaton. When is she gonna get an afi award? Soon I hope!

  • Diane... what a woman!

  • how comes she never went to Al pacino's Afi award ?

  • @iaintmadatcha She didn't go because they haven't been on speaking terms since GF3. They had a pretty bad break-up. Al got another woman pregnant when they were dating. It kinda broke her heart. I love Al, but I can see why she didn't show up.

  • @WesternWinds0 ok cheers mate thanks for the info

  • love dianne keaton

but horrible dress man what is that?

  • I have to admit it that warren beautty is a fucking gigolo all his girls, lovers or whatever ( well some rumors says he fucked almost 12 789 girls ) so maybe just 3% was there hahah diane, cher, anette, liza and a lot girls hahah

  • I like Diane Keaton So much!

  • reds is an amazing movie. so underrated.

  • Diane Keaton is classy beyond words....hard to take your eyes off her when she's on screen. Warren must have been in his zen artistic peak to have made as great a film as "Reds". The train scene is iconic in film history. "Annie Hall" is one of my favorite movies of all time. All this and she can buy and redecorate fantastic older homes with style, the lady just has it. I'm several years younger than her, but in a heartbeat.................

  • wow, that was a real glimpse into a heart, two hearts actually

  • wonderful woman best actress in the world funny as heck and a dish too.

  • Diane Keaton is an original--like Kate Hepburn. So classically beautiful, no matter her age. And I love her singing style as in Annie Hall, and Radio Days.

  • She's actually quite gorgeous. And very classy.

  • Simply i Love Diane Keaton!!!!!!!

She is crazy, funny and fantastic!!!!

    I love Her Dress!!!!!!

  • The great Diane

what a charismatic woman .. and legendary actress!

  • Well Diane just got me good...that was so beautiful I'm choked up. Damn.

  • Best speach

  • Lovely Diane. She is so natural and you can just feel her ..humanity? I love you Diane!

  • I am actually crying

though Diane Keaton is the funniest person i've ever been lucky and privileged enough to meet. She's amazing!

  • "Meet" - literally?

  • literally!

I walked into her whilst on a socialogy survey and she answered some of the questions I asked. I walked away with an autograph too!

  • was that this year or last year?

  • its last year i suppose. Michael Douglas is the recipient for this year.

  • Aww. I Love Diane. Great speech. I was nearly crying too! :(

  • Diane Keaton forever

  • well, I think Diane Keaton would LOVE to take all this shit from you!

  • I love you Diane Keaton!

  • GREAT SPEECH. I LOVE DIANE KEATON

  • that was an amazing speech of an amazing woman!

  • i love the dress!

  • That was so sad. i was nearly crying tbh ;l

  • Wow!!! That was soooo touching.

  • wow she looks great, and moved me.. what a great actress and person!

  • hey why don't you go to hell sir i love diane keaton and why don't you get a life

  • it might have escaped your notice but the award was being given to warren beatty, not diane keaton. unless you were dissing them both, in which case ... lame.

  • Warren has been in relationships with Diane, Julie Christie, his current wife Annette ... all of them have this remarkable femininity but powerful independence and intensity. Having a sister in Shirley MacLaine too - i envy him having these extraordinary women in his life.

  • yeah on Charlie Rose, Warren was like who wouldn't be interested in Annette, Julie or Diane because they are such interesting people. They were also the longest loves he had in his life. And they are all interesting women that do have this vulnerability but are so independent. Julie Christie and Diane Keaton are so free spirited. That's what they have in common.

  • I am actually in love with her i think, or the idea of her.

  • Who is Diane Keaton's plastic surgeon? She looks better now that she did in her twenties!

    Also, Warren Beatty!

  • the cool thing about Diane is no plastic surgery! She's one of the few actresses (especially of her age) along with Jodie Foster, and maybe Annette Benning and Frances McDormand who has allowed herself to age naturally. Let her wrinkles form and she looks way better and more natural than the other hollywood actresses of her generation as a result of that.

  • and she's a Capricorn, theoretically we're the only ones who look better as we age, I hope that's true with me hahahz...

and I just cried so much after hearing her speech and seeing Warren's face and also how sweet Annette was with her reactions

  • Reds is one of my fave films... it is truly amazing... Great tribute, but Annette looked a bit uncomfortable.

  • That train station scene is one of the most beautiful pieces of acting I've ever seen in a film. It's stayed with me since I first saw it. The way she floats towards him and the look on her face. So amazing. It's great to hear Diane speak about it.They dated for awhile and that's such an amazing and sincere speech that it's got to bring back emotions for Beatty and Keaton even if they did move on.

  • that must have been awkward cause they went out.

    like WENT out.

  • poor annette

  • I need to rent and buy Reds.

  • please do. It's one of those truly great films that not enough people saw. I think it's Diane Keaton's best performance. She's the reason I love it so much. And the chemistry between her and Beatty in the film is so powerful.

  • I just love Diane Keaton in general. Warren Beatty's OK and all, and I do love the romance, but what I almost like best is Maureen Stapleton's Emma Thompson.

  • Thompson? You mean she played Emma Goldman (or Goldsmith) I believe. Anyway she was alright but I think overrated, I mean she won the academy award for it and just didn't find her all that special. Diane Keaton on the other hand took my breath away in the movie.

  • Yes, Maureen Stapleton played Emma Goldman. I guess I was thinking Emma Thompson, who is also an excellent actress.

  • I have it, right at the top of list of favorites, and this scene is just about it for me.

  • Beautiful tribute.
