Curtiz really was a fine director and had a strong visual style, understood pacing and narrative drive. Korngold was a genius. This score was written in only 3 weeks. While this is more subdued and sober than 'Adventures of Robin Hood', it's an impressive film.

actually both 'hanged' and 'hung' are correct in both the written and spoken forms. Websters suggests that you use 'hanged' when writing, so as to "spare the annoyance of having been corrected on something that is not wrong". Good advice.
