That is true that molecules move faster when at a higher temperature; however, the theory of a heat engine and moving gas molecules from hot spot to do work to a cold spot. The higher the thermal efficiency thus gap between hot spot and cold spot the better the engine will work. Thus, by cooling the turbine side and keeping a wide diameter exhaust piping you reduce the heat soaking or the heating sitting stagnant and thus make the motor more efficient.

nothing wrong with that red hot., the hotter the exhaust gasses r the faster the gas velocity. hotter is better( on the turbine side) put a beanie on the turbine housing to keep heat in it and going out the exhaust. nice heat shield too. people should really learn more bout turbos b4 sayin dumb shit

No, that is very common on turbo engines, especially with stainless manifold (cast steel manifold do the same), it glows every pull, every drift. If you open the bonnet right after each hard run (street, circurt or drifting), you will see the same.
