While I would generally agree with you, what I was getting at was: did Trijicon take it upon themselves to do this, or was it recommended (in the specs) by the government? If this was Trijicon's idea, (while strictly NOT unconstitutional) the government shouldn't have gone along with it, but if the government requested it, it should most definitely be considered unconstitutional.

They're hidden amongst all the other serial numbers which an arms manufacturer has to put on its products.

Actually, the Koran is pretty clear when it tells Muslims to go and conquer those who do not serve Allah. Like it or not, conquest and forcing submission to their god is an integral part of the Muslim faith.
General order 1 applied to military employees, not contractors. Additionally, general order 1 was a ban on proselytizing, and you can't proselytize by printing something that requires the reader to go and acquire the religious scripture in order to decode it.

Not really. A central theme of Christianity is the new covenant, which is supposed to replace the old covenant (all of God's commandments before the coming of Christ). Basically, if a Christian think the old covenant still needs to be observed, he's denying Christ.
I refuse to tolerate a religion that demands my submission. That's an insane proposition for anyone who values freedom.

This isn't about terrorists that go crazy and bomb people (you'll find those in virtually any religion). This is about the fact that Islam demands conquest and compliance with its dictates. Conquest is even codified in the Koran. If I was as intolerant as the ones you describe, I would be out killing people that didn't agree with me. The real irony is that you are defending a religion that wants only your submission to its will, but you're clearly not a member of that religion.

The Bible as a whole? Yes, I do think it's different. The NT alone is very focused on Christians living by the Bible, but on not expecting anyone else to. The OT was all about separating its followers from the rest of the world, so you won't find much justification for conquest there either.
The entire religious behind the Crusades was to "reclaim the holy land". It was a political maneuver, not a religious one.

on a side note it's not likely that the scopes were the absolute best...... it's likely they were very good out of a crowded field of very good scopes and that the government contracted the company because the price was right or because someone knew someone who paid the right someone to get the contract.

Actually, it just ruled that the gov't can't prohibit the private exercise of religion or establish a state religion.
And do these scopes force one religion on anyone? I mean, it's not like the scopes come with a man with a gun just waiting to put his gun to the head of anyone using the scope and forcing them to look up the corresponding Bible passages.
It's also ludicrous to assume that these scopes are just average without any evidence whatsoever.

Trijicon being a private company has the right to put what ever they like on their products. Although it is Christian propaganda Trijocon has every right to manufature what ever they want, being that they are a private company. I dont see how this is Unconstitutional at all. If the Government decides not to purchase their products anymore so be it, but you cant blame Trijicon.

While I would generally agree with you, what I was getting at was: did Trijicon take it upon themselves to do this, or was it recommended (in the specs) by the government? If this was Trijicon's idea, (while strictly NOT unconstitutional) the government shouldn't have gone along with it, but if the government requested it, it should most definitely be considered unconstitutional.

@connorh68 Trijicon is a private company and these same products can be purchased by your average American. They have to right under the constitution to manufature any product they so wish. If they werent the best scopes in the world then the military wouldnt of purchased them.
