Since God is far more complex than the universe as he is sentient & a creator therefore the odds of him coming from nothing are smaller than a universe forming from simple beginnings. Your argument falls apart on this ground. And there is no evidence for design anywhere, plus look at Zeus,Baal,Yahweh- which is it?
