Hey whats the best settings to Export from Final Cut Pro to my Desktop to later post on youtube and other stuff. i seem to be having problems understanding the proper settings and the whole mumbo jump. Please help me out!
If you get a chance take a look at my vid and tell me what you think. I Used no adapters, Just the XL2 cam. I do like that M2. How much did you pay for it? You think it was worth the investment. Great video.
Great display of the effect. The video wasn't "blurry," it just focused on certain points to create an effect. It gets the viewer to focus in on whats important in the shot and it allows it to stand out.
If making the video look blurry is your way of thinking it look like film, thats sad. Video is video no matter what you do to it. Unless you want to make all your project blurry, then what the point of paying this kind of movie for a video camera????????
@thesturgen77 when you say "blurry" do you mean out focus. becuase whether something is out of focus or has a shallow DOF has nothing to do with whether its shot on film or video. plus it doesn't say anywhere on here that its trying to look like film. your right video is video but why have a problem with someones work just because you think he might be going for a film look!
it's the sunshine soundtrack. It's just John Murphy and Underworld. u can download the soundtrack off itunes. Lol the author should be it somewhere on this page.
nice video quality... thinking about buyng this adapter for my business.. word of advice tho.. next time you shoot, shoot in the same direction of the sun rays.. this will avoid over exposure
I love the vignetting. It makes it look cute. Like someone is finally happy with themselves. It works great with the color, lighting and music. It's just like a photograph.
in my oinion, the Redrock M2 is the best looking, worth your money, comes with dozens of accesories and gives the best quality image. So i recomend the RedRock M2 box.
SO fucking inspiring. I want this camera, and i want to video edit.

Hi just wondering what settings did you have it on? I have the same canon and M2 Redrock. Anything done in post as well?
justkrump 1 year ago
does the camera need a 35mm flip device?
i´m just curious because you can buy an adapter to the camera from canon to use regular photolenses/optics.
does the picture from the 35mm adapter end up up-side-down in the view finder?
i´m thinkin of buying a XL2. nice shots by the way =)

Man, I'm not sure what you could do with this set-up to get around the obvious light problem.
The RedRock is known for eating up light. And the XL2 is even worse.
How fast is the prime used here?
You're probably stuck with with this problem unless you are ready to move on to newer gear.

I think they were going for that. Believe me, these guys know what they're doing.

This is photography, not videography.
The over-exposure is obviously intended. It's called art.

Pretty sure the song is "Capa's Last Transmission Home" from John Murphy.
It's what it says on iTunes.

Nice video but a little too much vignetting and some scenes are over exposed. Watch your camera settings!

What's better the Brevis, Letus, or Redrock? I'm trying to decide which one is worth buying, thanks.
