I think people who are (re)discovering Bowie right now, like me - in his "silent" time - have an easier access to the "judgement" of his art through all the years and decades. I so much appreciate his later stuff as well as his earlier stuff, "Spaceboy" is really a great song, and I really adore the whole "1.Outside" album, just as much as his awesome 70's output.
I cannot believe that this gorgeous, sexy, talented, creative and unique individual is 60 something! The guy doesn't seem to age (well he does, we all do lol) and I honestly don't think he has had much (if anything) done (cosmetic surgery, etc). He is as hot today as he was 20 plus years ago. Love him, love him, love him. And I would marry him in a heartbeat! Lucky, lucky, lucky Iman.

OMG! One of my all time favorite!!! : ) : ) : ) It was so hillarious when he did his "Reality Tour" and began singing this song... Most of his older fans (who remember him mostly from his Ziggy Stardust days) stopped and looked around as if saying "What the f*** is that??? That's David Bowie???"... While his fans in their 20's got up to their feet and started dancing like crazy! Great time!

His lyrics were poetry, the chords he used were amazing, back when he played his old 12-string, His voice had this eerie passion to it and he just generally rocked.

I have this concert on CD. It was included to the Live at the beep-CD that I bought some years ago. I like that version of Hallo Spaceboy better than the Pet Shop Boys Version.

thats wrong im afraid, he doesnt choose to have them like that, when he was younger he was punched in the eye by his mate over a fight with a girl, he didnt go blind in that eye but the colour he sees out of it is a bit different, this left him with two different sized pupils, you are correct thow that both his eyes are still blue.
David Bowie is the greatest artist of all time. There is rumour of possible new material this year, lets hope its true is a crime for breathtaking talent to lie dormant for so long.

Its great, I never heared this version (thanks tube and the uploader!)..
But I still like the pet shop boys version better, maybe its because I'm a fan of both. This version is also too noisy for my taste, too "hardcore" maybe.

I have this concert on CD. It was included to the Live at the beep-CD that I bought some years ago. I like that version of Hallo Spaceboy better than the Pet Shop Boys Version.

bowies version is better, no doubt it has more guts. psb just made a pop version. best performance of hallo spaceboy by bowie was on jools holland, he rocked it, big time, the version on his outside album is quality!!

Actually they are both blue just the left has a dialted pupil making it look like they are 2 different colours. David likes having his eyes like this cuz it adds to his weirdness which is awesome. David rocks!

thats wrong im afraid, he doesnt choose to have them like that, when he was younger he was punched in the eye by his mate over a fight with a girl, he didnt go blind in that eye but the colour he sees out of it is a bit different, this left him with two different sized pupils, you are correct thow that both his eyes are still blue.
