Im so confused. I've won this car in both gt4 and gt5 and both times ive driven it the thing is an absolute BRICK! I cant for the life of me figure out how to drive this thing to one TENTH of the speeds you do in this video.....

Im no newbie either, having owned every gt since 2.

The thing wont let me put power down, and the suspension is bollocks, just sort of seems to float around. I'd be interested to see what you setup is if you could help me out?

@DriftkingS2K Do you own a wheel? With the DS2, at 2:28 you cannot take that corner at full throttle at 272km/h, but with a steering wheel, you have more control with the steering of the car, you can thread the needle so to speak, using full throttle, requires extreme commitment as the slightest hesitation, or missige of the apex will result in a failure.

@TopsuLoL Yeah i used a DFP (Driving Force pro) Wheel. Very old wheel but very good one for Gran Turismo, even with the latest version in GT5P

@holl01 Does the DFP have the wobble-effect on straights with high speeds? My G25 starts to wobble from side-to-side at speeds over 300 km/h so it makes driving those kind of monsters practically impossible. If I lower the centering force it ruins the feeling to the road. It's really frustrating. I've been thinking of buying and old DFP if it would help me getting proper times at the Nurb.

@TopsuLoL Yep the DFP certainly has the wobble effect, but I just had to put up with it, as you said If you wimp out and reduce the feedback your lap times will suffer, trick is to not really fight it, just let it wobble.

I have tried it, although it's not as fast as the Minolta so i quickly lost the enthusiasm to drive it. The C9 does have a top speed advantage but it lacks gears (only 5) and cornering performance.

I forgot to mention in the description that I set the top speed setting to 420, but 430 and 440 give a faster top speed, although mid corner power is sacrificed. 385km/h is about as fast as I traveled during this lap.

The Toyota Minolta 88C-V race car is a blue and white race car from GT4. You can get it from winning El Captian Endurance Race 200 Miles. It has 798hp without tuning, but you can tune it to 1223hp.
