Phil was too integral a part of Lizzy for these boys to be using the name today...imagine Motorhead without Lemmy.. Scott and BD contributed hugely to the success of Lizzy ( fairly obvious Darren just there to make up the 'past members' quota) but without the ideas, lyrics, showmanship and most importantly the soul Lynott brought to Lizzy, they would never have achieved legendary status.. if as these guys keep telling us that they are so talented, do it on ur own with new name.. have some pride

Never a truer word spoken. I had a freeby offered me to go to the recent Cardiff gig. I declined. You are so on the money with your comments. Phil was Thin Lizzy and yes Brian Downey has been there from the very start and Scott helped shape the sound most Lizzy fans crave, but I truly believe that they should have gone out under another name. I don't blame the guys who are earning a crust playing the songs with Scott & Brian, I think the name gets peoples back's up!
