A great song by the master of ghazals ,Talat ,the only talat ! This song became so popular that its tune was copied in other Indian languages too. Babul was a tragedy.Dilip-Nargis starrer and duly supported by no less an actor than Munnawar Sultana. Music was by that great maestro Naushad Ali saheb of the "kardar aur Naushad fame".Other good songs were "Chhod babul ka ghar mohey pee ke nagar" and "Miltey he aankhey dil hua diwana kisi ka".
