regardless of what they say listen for that little car 125 is fine.look it's power to weight ratio you car is light 125 is plenty for everyday street use and less maintenance on that engine it should get better gas mpg at lower speeds(great work) 10 from me

gonna be kinda like my setup next year... Im using a S-coupe manifold, some sort of small intercooler like yours, for coolant im using TB lines, and oil im just tapping into the sender and the pan. Fuel and ignition is a issue to me, i was thinking putting in a A/F gauge throwing on elantra injectors and hoping for the best....

How did you set up the disks on the rear ? wouldnt mind doing this to mine , also how did you fit your mags on the front , my 1995 has 4 bolt heads and the mags dont sit flush on the hub ?

nice accent. the upcoming next gen 2011 accent and 2011 elantra will be turbo.

the accent is said to have a 1.6 direct injected Turbo making 140hp and over 40mpg. who needs a hybrid anymore. the elantra will be making more power and will be giving the civic SI a run for its money. the elantra was confirmed to have 3 new engine choices, im guessing N/A, Turbo and a Hybrid just like the new 2011 sonata has 3 choices.

It's a little handler, I'll bet, eh? And on just 5 pounds of boost, that's just enough to really scare some people in the passenger seat real bad! I remember I had a EJ20 in a 1991 Legacy wagon, went to an EJ22 turbo manifold, piping, and turbine on the stock motor, got a whole bunch of high-end tune-up parts (plugs, MSD dist. cap and rotor, NGK Iridium plugs, fully synthetic Castrol all the time, and ran it on Plus Shell gas). It was balls.

Please tell me your not talking about this video as the Dohc Cause you might want to edit your lil post. The Accent's come Stock with the stock 1.5 Soch engine and had the option with the bigger packages for the bigger motor and i believe the engine upgrade was to the 1.6Dohc not the Sohc. im running a 1.5SOHC in my 02. great video jonnman im swapping out my 1.5SOHC for the 2004 2.0L tiburon motor this summer then hoping to boost around 15-18PSI after works done on the motor. grear video.

nice rims, but you can't even fill up a water floaty for a 3 year old with 5 psi! I will race you with my geo metro, it has a 5 horsepower Briggs and Stratton, with dual air cleaners. I run mobil 1 in that shit, and i have a cowl induction system on it with holly 4 barrels. I will blow the wood screws out of your doors, and the fake leather off your seats.

Es sencillo pero de cuidado para que todo quede bien, fue menos complicado de lo que pense. Mas o menos ya con el controlador de gasolina y todo el hardware del turbo se gasto aprox $1500.

xD I'm sure it will run 8 PSI or 12 for that matter but the problem is how long will it run for? If this is your project car and you don't care by all means go for it :) I can say your 1.5litre is fast at 5psi. I would leave it that or even 3 psi to be safe.

the 1.6 dohc engine is weak but the 1.5 sohc, 1.5 dohc and, of course, beta 1&2 (2.0) are workhorses.

i already owned a 1.5 sohc turbo, you only have to put de crank and the piston of the scoupe turbo to have a built engine... and i could pull 28 psi, and i'm not kidding. i had a modified t28 running daily 21 psi and the engine can hold it very easy. it was tuned by FMU 12:1 and 3:1 and it was very rich, could have done something better with an additionnal fuel rail and a smt-6 but I didn't have the money. keep the good work!

I had a 95 with that G5EK motor, I pulled the head off to replace a few exhaust valves ::coughs:: damn timing belt... and I did some port work to the head. World of difference on the NA car... plus no cat and 2 1/4" exhaust with 2 resonators. I loved that car! I was looking into the turbo conversion when it got wrecked. I've still got the worked over head and matching intake runners/plenum setup...
