Obviously if you blow a high enough BAC you will get DUI (and DWI if higher or equal to .08), but showing two exact same shots of a kid getting a breathalyzer test and saying one is buzzed, the other sia drunk... that is blatant propaganda.
If you drink A beer (and I mean only 1 or two MAX) for most people they are not going to be drunk enough to cause harm or get in legal trouble. Obvious you know how to pout on a good propaganda piece though.
but you know what, i can feel some effects from one beer (i'm a 19 year old white guy), and i tried to drive after 2 once and i decided to stop cause i could tell i was a little impaired. for my size it would have taken a 3rd to be illegal but that doesn't make what i did right
if you are a certain size 1 or 2 could make you drunk even though it would only take a 3rd to make it illegal, but for others 1 or 2 does nothing and a cop will still arrest you even if you're not buzzed or anything..
the issues here is not that a person is under the influence, this is a campaign to raise awareness around what people perceive... some people think "i'm just buzzed" and will drive when they are over the limit.
just as some people mixing drinks at home may think they are having one drink but are mixing in 4 ounces of booze per mixed drink... thats over 2 drinks right there...
