i was there when that happened i was standing on the roof of my friends apartment when the second plain hit i watched both towers fall and i could hear people screaming i was so scared. i remember saying oh my god and oh crap and watching my friends has they said the same things i was it was the worst day of my life i'll never for get it
Reminds me of a story about my dad, he just reached the top of mount everest, and on his way down they said a fellow climber slipped, my dad then reached for her and held her, they say she and my dad were just in grasp of each other hands, my dad said I'll never let go. and she looked him in the eyes and said I know. at that point i'm told that she let go of his hand and that she had a look in her eyes as if she knew, she was going, but she had accomplished everything in life one can. As a child old enough to to realize what was truly going on and native upstate New Yorker during 9/11, this was one of the events that stays with you and forms who you are. I was at Ground Zero two years ago, looking at it through the fence, when sirens starting blaring in the background. It sent me and the classmates who had watched it live straight to tears.
Did you know that they made the USS New York out of steel from the World Trade Center?
one of my friends were in one of the towers he was one of the lucky who got out thank god for that! but he always tells me a story, he remembers running down the emergency stairway and he was passing the firefighters that were going up the stairs going to help the others who were trapped in rooms, he remembers one of the firefighters a man who looked scared to death he looked my friend straight in the eye as he walked past in the end the firefighter didnt make it out he died alone up there :(
BTW did you notice that shadow at 4:32 ? That was the St. Nicholas Greek -Orthodox Church. It was completely destroyed when the South Tower collapsed. It was the only non-WTC building to be immediately destroyed by the attacks. Thank God, no one was inside when the church was destroyed! One day that church should be rebuilt.

I was at Ground Zero two years ago, looking at it through the fence, when sirens starting blaring in the background. It sent me and the classmates who had watched it live straight to tears.
Did you know that they made the USS New York out of steel from the World Trade Center?

one of my friends were in one of the towers he was one of the lucky who got out thank god for that! but he always tells me a story, he remembers running down the emergency stairway and he was passing the firefighters that were going up the stairs going to help the others who were trapped in rooms, he remembers one of the firefighters a man who looked scared to death he looked my friend straight in the eye as he walked past in the end the firefighter didnt make it out he died alone up there :(

BTW did you notice that shadow at 4:32 ? That was the St. Nicholas Greek -Orthodox Church. It was completely destroyed when the South Tower collapsed. It was the only non-WTC building to be immediately destroyed by the attacks. Thank God, no one was inside when the church was destroyed! One day that church should be rebuilt.
