@Sentuyashi That he is, but try this if you ever get the chance: put Zell in your party, junction his STR to 255, fight Omega and cast Meltdown, then wait until Zell is hit hard and keep his HP low(his timer becomes longer if he's weak) and hit his Limit. As fast as you can, alternate between Punch Rush and Booya or Mach Kick. It causes so much damage(8500+ each) and will deck Omega in one turn, same with Ultima Weapon. There's a video somewhere of it being done, then I did it. Cool beans.

@mamuddi As far as I can remember, Diablos didn't get a Boost counter because his damage was gravity-based.

The story made NO sense and had plot holes you could drive a space shuttle through, The battle system was needlessly over-complicated and downright stupid, and the characters are vapid dumbasses save for maybe a couple characters here and there that no one will even remember by the time they finish it. @AdmiralTrainstorm it was dumb as hell, why do we need to grind out for hours drawing magic spells just to be good in battle, when did it go from being a simplistic LEVEL UP system to a tedious, micromanaged, nonsensical battle and junction system that required you to draw for hours trying to get a full load of EVERY spell in the game. It was insanely over complicated, and was a huge ton of busywork. I don't like spending the better half of a game doing retarded busywork.

@GamingIdiot42Neo Apparently you missed the Refine abilities. Grab "M-Stone pieces", "Magic Stones", or "Wizard Stones" (among many other items). Have certain GFs learn a refine ability and then refine the aforementioned items into magic spells. They wouldn't just make you fight for hours just to get magic.

Example: Have Ifrit learn the "F-Mag RF" ability (Fire magic refine). Refine 1 "M-stone piece" into 5 Fires.

Not complicated, you just didn't pay attention.

When i played this game I tried to never level up and used 'Card' to gain Ap from monsters. I managed to get incrediable magic for my stats. In the end my characters absorbed all spells, near immunity to all status effects, 9999 hp, high stats. I beat the final boss 4 times in only like 30 min. It became one of the easiest bosses i have ever fought.

@Jack111315 Yeah, I remember my line-up. Once you get to that point: 100 Ultima to ElemDef, Full-lifes or Curaga for HP, Flare or Meteor for Str, Pain and Death for StatusDef made your characters into powerhouses, making the end of the game way too easy. Even Omega Weapon was running scared.

@darkriku97 Well that's just it. I'm a veteran RPG gamer and I don't usually summon things unless it calls for it. Thus in this situation, I didn't equip Squall and Zell with GFs.. Only with Magic. Selphie had all three attributes GF, Magic and Draw. I made a huge mistake not drawing some cures.

@hYpNoXiDe Ummm actually it does make sense. You can junction the GFs but when you want gives commands, you can actually CHOOSE. I'll repeat it again if you can't make sense of it again. YOU CAN CHOOSE which commands can be used. For example: ATTACK, MAGIC, DRAW, ITEM. GF doesn't have to be equipped automatically. Only the junction is needed to USE those commands. You my friend, clearly equip GFs and never fully manipulated the Command system. Now that makes no sense.
