Think about it, without Giger nobody would have seen it... Not even if it was made by Ridley Scott. The question is this: if Giger is gone how is prometheus ever going to be epic... I got a bad feeling about it.
i can see why they removed the cocoon scene, it suggests that before an alien impregnates you the worker that tied you up injected you with a paralytic toxin that made dallas so sick looking, but newt in aliens was unharmed when ripley found her in the cocoon
I didn't read the book, but I always wanted to know how much the crew encountered other life forms in general. The space jockey seems to not be much of a shock to them, nor is the jockey's ship in general. Was this a first encounter with a hostile life-form?
I agree with you - there were elements that made it effective (ie the 'panoramic' shot of Alien crouched to the left, Lambert on the right) but the crab walk was almost juvenile and uneasy - not very fluid and effective at all. Porbably why they didn't use it...
Yeah thats one ive always wondered about were the eggs cargo or was it an attack, and where in the hell the space jockey came from. I wish they would answer it in some film/comic, but not another sequel.
hey vicky looks he is more taller, hahahahahahaha.hey this documental kicks ass, you know i was looking for something like this and is totally cool so thanks

I don't like how the alien crab crawls towards Lambert, but I love how it's sits there looking at her until she notices it.

where did the eggs come from in the spaceship? :/
ttaattoo666 3 years ago
The queen

they also come from the victims of the chess burster who go into cocoons and eventually turn into a egg.
sporonkubik1 3 years ago 2
No one knows, normally it comes from a queen, but one of the movie's mystery involves no one knowing how did the space jockey's obtain the alien eggs

It's actually answered in the original "Aliens vs. Predator" comics series.
