  • lol very good

  • @zoniadema If you are interested to learn more about the pellet press we have created several free guides on the process of making pellets and the operation of the pellet mill. The pellet machine can be very difficult to operate properly without the right information.

  • keep it up

  • @kennyolic The Mini Pellet Mill can also be run from a domestic single phase plug socket, with no modifications to home electrics.

  • awesome work

  • @ziondemla Unlike most other small pellet mills the Mini Pellet Mill features a material hopper with a variable speed feed auger. Other pellet presses and machines that lack this feature find it much harder to produce consistent quality wood pellets and other pellets.

  • NICE

  • @duncalefl Thanks! The Mini Pellet Mill is based on the ring die pellet mill design, which replicates the process of most industrial pellet mills used in large scale pellet plants.

  • AMAZING

  • @sonaciut The Mini Pellet Mill was developed as a research tool and for small scale production of high value niche pellet products such as custom animal feeds or smoking BBQ wood pellets.

  • It's great to see a video from you! Always is helpful to me

  • @eizmacall The Mini Pellet Mill video does provide a good example of how the pellet production process needs to be controlled to consistently produce high quality wood pellets and animal feed pellets. For instance the Mini Pellet Mill is one of very few small pellet mills to feature a conditioner to accurately mix and prepare the material for the pellet mill.

  • :O Wow man.. This is phenominal!

  • @lourfreanc Thank you for your comments. The Mini Pellet Mill is very unique in terms of its features and construction. This pellet press is also designed and manufactured here in the UK.

  • lol very good

  • @malvinhers If you click on link above you can visit the PelHeat YouTube channel and view another video on the Mini Pellet Mill, and a series of videos on the small pellet plants. In the videos you will see the larger pellet presses we also provide as part of the pellet lines. All the pellet machines are based on the ring die pellet mill design. The pellet plants are also highly automated to reduce operating costs and maximise profits.

  • AMAZING

  • @georecsa Making high quality wood pellets is actually a lot more complicated than many people believe. The quality of the design and manufacture of the pellet mill also have a lot to do with success. This pellet press provides greater control over the process with regards to material mixture and feed rate. As the feed rate into the press can be precisely controlled, pellet quality benefits as a result. It also helps to stop the pellet machine motor been overloaded.

  • pretty nice job dude

  • @kenothdemc A lot of research and development went into Mini Pellet Mill. It’s important to provide process, which can be controlled and replicated. Small additions of water and vegetable oil can also be added into to the condition/mixer to adjust the compression in the pellet press die. However the raw material must have a moisture content below 15% before it can be used in the pellet machine.

  • awesome work

  • @leidevaneify The mini pellet machine has been technically demanding, but the results do speak for themselves. This small pellet press fills the gap between the very cheap budget pellet mills and the very expensive laboratory pellet makers.

  • keep it up

  • @frremcher It’s important to note any material used in the Mini Pellet Mill needs to have a moisture content below 15%, and be in particles below 6mm before it can be made into pellets. Therefore a hammer mill or similar shredder will also been needed to produce the small particles. Various materials can be used in the pellet press, however we may suggest a range of pellet mill dies to suit the different compressions required.

  • nice job

  • @garthlenn The Mini Pellet Mill provides a low cost means to test various materials before moving to a pellet plant production facility. Pellets can be produced and sent off for testing to provide evidence if the pellets produced will meet the customers requirements. In some cases the material may not produce pellets of a suitable standard, and this has therefore saved a lot of time and money investing in a pellet plant with no future.

  • awesome work

  • @ronnybergee One area of work that is currently getting a lot of interest is experiments in torrefied fuel pellets. These can be produced from wood or any other type of biomass that has gone through the torrefication process. In the process the material is heated and turned into a purer form of fuel that also repels water. Current wood pellets absorb moisture, so a fuel pellet that repels moisture makes them easier to transport and store.

  • AMAZING

  • @tainapullo A unique feature for the Mini Pellet Mill is the oil and water tank fitted to the back of the material hopper. If compression within the pellet press needs to be altered, small amounts of water or vegetable oil can be added to adjust compression in the die. Water is added to increase compression and oil to reduce compression. The material and water/oil is extensively mixed in the conditioner before it reaches the die and rollers.

  • NICE

  • @fidelwane This pellet machine is based on the ring die pellet mill design, apposed to the flat die of most other small pellet presses. The advantages are a lower energy costs and reduced parts wear. Flat die pellet mills suffer from roller slip, this is due to differences in rotation speed between the inner and outer edges of the die and roller. This inconsistency also effects pellet quality, as compression is different from the outer to the inner edges of the die.

  • keep it up

  • @maricfigu While we do receive a lot of inquires about processing wood pellets, there is a wide range of materials that can be processed in the pellet mill. We even receive enquires about processing horse manure into fuel pellets. There is a wide range of waste materials people are interested in testing as potential fuel pellets. This small pellet machine provides the ideal platform to produce the best standard of pellet possible from a wide range of biomass and waste materials.

  • It's great to see a video from you! Always is helpful to me

  • @arlyamor We can supply the Mini Pellet Mill with a single-phase motor setup, however three phase is advised where possible. The three-phase unit has a higher productivity per hour due to more available power. However the advantages of the single-phase pellet press are that it can be used in more locations. Therefore this maybe the better option if the pellet machine was going to be moved from one location to another where three phase power may not be available.

  • great job dude :)

  • @jonasuch Thanks! We also get a lot of questions asking about pellet binders, and if they are needed. Generally a binder is not necessary for the pellet to form, however can aid the process in some cases. For instance a typical pellet mill binder would be modified cornstarch. A low inclusion binder (typically 1%) can aid lubrication of the process and pellet quality. While a cost, the benefit of a higher productivity per hour is generally worth it.

  • good stuff here

  • @carmitugge In this video the Mini Pellet Mill is processing oak sawdust into wood pellets, however there is a huge range of materials that can be used. You may have seen some other pellet machines making grass pellets from lawn grass. While this is very easy, the pellets are not a great fuel, they produce a lot of ash and the smoke is very corrosive to the pellet stove.

  • Epic

  • @sanozeis The Mini Pellet Mill seen in the video is the smallest pellet maker we offer. We can also offer small pellet plants up to 4,000 kg/h to process a range of fuel and feed pellets. If you click on the PelHeat channel link you can see a range of videos of these small pellet plants in action.

  • good stuff here

  • @rhebarucy I appreciate the comments. What this pellet press does offer unlike most of the competition is a very easy method to grease the rollers and adjust the rollers against the surface of the die. The rollers and die should never touch, but they do need to be close (about 1mm). The adjustment system on the front of this pellet machine provides easy and precise adjustment.

  • awesome work

  • @yarilscew The advantage with the ring die pellet mill dies the Mini Pellet Mill is based on is that roller slip which flat die pellet presses suffer from is eliminated. Roller slip on the flat die machines is due to the differences in speed between the inner and outer edges of the die and surface of the rollers. The ring die has a matching roller and die speed across the whole surface. This means less power is wasted due to unnecessary friction.

  • great video, definitely gonna subscribe

  • @ronystorme There are more pellet mill videos and pellet plant videos on the PelHeat channel page. The latest pellet plant video is a plant, which was recently installed in the Ukraine for processing reed grass into biomass fuel pellets. In many instances this grass has to be harvested but has no use. By compressing the reed grass into pellets it can be used in pellet stoves and boilers.

  • :O Wow man.. This is phenominal!

  • @tajupose Automation is the key to making good quality pellets and been able to repeat the process time after time. The Mini Pellet Mill is one of the very few small pellet mills that control the speed of material feed into the press, and accurately mixes and adds water/vegetable oil or other liquids/powered to alter the compression within the pellet mill die.

  • always providing the best!

  • @fidelnied Thanks for the comment. While the products we offer are definitely not the cheapest pellet machines we know they are the best value pellet presses on the market for their features and abilities. Please view our YouTube channel to view the other video of the Mini Pellet Mill and our small pellet plants processing biomass and wood pellets.

  • Good information here

  • @rennalinae If you click the link below the video you will be able to pick up our free guide on making pellets. You will also be sent in total five free guides on how pellets are made and how the pellet mill works.

  • NICE

  • @Simsfanjohn1995 Thanks, with the Mini Pellet Mill we have tried to focus on the quality of the construction of the pellet press. All steel fabrication and construction is done here in the UK. We know that the quality of the pellet machine is reflected in the quality of the pellets produced.

  • pretty nice job dude

  • @superaction921 We appreciate the comments. Its taken several years to get to this point where we know that this is the best small pellet mill on the market today.

  • great video, definitely gonna subscribe

  • @b4nh4nh45 Yes please subscribe to our YouTube channel. We have a range of videos on pellet mills and pellet plants, and we hope add some more in the not too distant future.

  • nice job

  • @element32nrw Thank you. We have found that there is a lot of interest in a pellet mill that is made in the UK. While our products do cost more to produce, many of our customers realise that to make quality pellets you need a quality pellet machine.

  • great job dude :)

  • @butynification We can even setup the Mini Pellet Mill to run on a US single phase 110v supply with a sufficient power rating of 30/32 amps. Due to the ring die pellet mill design used on this press we have lower operating frictional resistance, therefore this pellet machine requires less power to operate than small flat die pellet mills.

  • great video, definitely gonna subscribe

  • @killer57752 Yes please subscribe to our videos. Soon we hope to add another video of one of the pellet plants setup to produce wood pellets for fuel.

  • pretty nice job dude
