  • I remember seeing these guys in really a hot club. Tort Elvis was sweating like an alien--pouring off of him. At the end of the show when he runs off the stage, they announce TORT ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!!! My old room mate's then girlfriend ran up and hit him like a linebacker and gave him a full body bear hug. shoo. good luck getting that off of you tonight.

  • Dread Zeppelin: A great mix of Led Zeppelin and Evis with a regae style

  • Genious. Thanks so much for sharing this.

  • @itsarthurmarshall If Elvis was alive today, he would be rolling in his grave-with laughter! Elvis is probably wearing an outfit like this in heaven, things have moved on in 30 years. Everyone knows that Elvis was a great reggae fan, you can hear it in his voice. Torte Elvis loves Elvis, they are family after all, blood is thicker than water don't you think?

  • I first heard these guys back in the late '80's early '90's and thought it was Frank Zappa doing his TAKE on Elvis/Zeppelin/and REGGAE! Like he did with DOWOP and MEX. on Ruben and the Jets! That Album was HILARIOUS! Check it out if you haven't heard it!

  • TINY BASS!!! OH YEAH!!

  • LOL!

  • I sense a crop of evil mushrooms in the mix here somewhere.

  • 13 people passed gas by Tortelvis

  • Is that a bass ukelele?

  • Love the little bass!

  • I saw these guys when first out in Syracuse Ny what a hoot ! then to find out that Robert lant likes them was to funny.Once you set back and look at the music you can see how it converts over . This just the extreme lol

  • I was made aware of these guys around 1990 at Poobah's record store in Pasadena, CA. A buddy of mine and I saw Un-Led-Ed, went "WTF" and picked it up, then spent that evening cracking up listening to it. The first and only reggae Led Zep cover band with an Elvis impersonator lead singer!

  • is charlie haj retarded?

  • @mangyfish69 Gee, what makes you say that?

  • Mental as something very mental. You have to love it.....

  • Go, Tortelvis! Brilliant!

  • tiny bass hahahaah

  • saw these guys multiple times in the '90's.. Unique and mucho fun!

  • Very funny, and good music

  • Perfect combination of the reggae beat and the weird meter of this song...

  • 4:37 Custard Pie! :D

  • 11 boring people

  • Its a fuc*ing good! Rock is a joke!

  • Funny Stuff.

  • Epic bass.

  • gary busey @lead guitar

  • @GuruzGT You often find yourself needing to say awkward, out of place things cause you can't fit in... yet.

  • you gotta love this!

  • im digging it but are those sideburns painted on >.>?

  • I love it!

  • is this supposed to be a comedy or is this for real?

  • @TheDrewTimes2

it's for real and that is their style, dig it or not!

  • @TheDrewTimes2 It's real. THis is no shit a real band that writes and records to this day. Robert Plant is a huge fan of them

  • No fair.... they get PAID to do this??

  • Have you ever seen anything so bizarre? Who would have thought that bringing together Elvis on vocals, a hippie Superman on lead guitar, a ski bum Fred Durst on the drums, a Rasta Captain Jack Sparrow on the Bongos, a surfer d'Artagnan on the baby bass and some strange version of Bez from the Happy Mondays just milling around the stage would end up in something not half bad! Great Video!

  • @ChiltonTurbo

I think you mean Hitler Youth Hippie on guitar

  • @alastairmctavish And do you think Elvis had done a cameo on Saved by the Bell that day?

  • anyone know where i can get a baby bass?

  • @hatotter you could probably find one in a lake or other large body of water, but it might take several tries to catch a baby one.

  • Wow this is some early Dread Zep. Don't ya just love Charlie? And Butt Boy! He's not quite his fabulous self -- when I've seen them live, Butt Boy usually gives the audience lots of chances to see his fucking awesome ASS!! This is making me wish they were coming to my town.

  • does anyone notice the baby bass hah :)

  • i couldnt stop laughngi

  • Absolutely brilliant. I remember when they 1st appeared & thinking "what the fuck....?" but it's superb. Knocks Hayseed Dixie into a cocked hat!

  • the guitar player is fucking up the riff

  • @RaymondFRevalee do you really think he cares?

  • I saw them over 20 years ago. They were great, and they were hilarious. They put up a great show.

  • I can just see these guys before they were a band sitting around some drinks and smoking a blunt.

    "I love Elvis."

"Yeah, me too but I love Led Zeppelin."

"I love both of them but I'm really into reggae."

    And history was born....

  • @Hornadayfan really? cause thats not what happened.

  • Genius. Total Genius.

  • f'n brilliant! thanks guys!!!!

  • THIS IS !!!!!!!

  • put a cork in Charles ass

  • there has to be a law against this.

  • oh sorry, he's Charlie! ;] xD

  • haah "Peter Grant" is here ;]

    they're awesome :D

  • It's such a shame that Led Zeppelin stole this piece and completely fucked it up :D

  • Elvis covering Zeppelin...inna Ragga style,..life is/was good !

I got to see DZ in the early 1990's, when they kinda got hot for half a sec, ...

    They Were Amazing !!!

  • The riff is not out of phase, it like the song itself is an interpretation, not a jukebox regurgitation

  • Quite right, it's called swing. Or reggae!

  • Unfortunately the guitarist plays the riff out of phase!

(from the 8th note forwards...why is there a pause betweeh the 7th and 8th note?)

  • its a tragedy that this only has 37,000 views

  • Guitarist 2:26.

    wtf

  • Mini bass FTW

  • Charlie rocks!

  • haha at Charlie Hodge!

  • dude

  • this is great!

  • I wonder what dread zep would come up with if they played music like irish drunks instead of reggae doing led zeppelin songs

  • is this a joke

  • Excellent!!! The guit player looks like Beavis!

  • Brilliant !!

  • I never thought I'd see Elvis and Vanilla Ice on stage together.

  • neo-pyro works for me

  • i n=know they wer fun at all..but they are a great band..love their clips...bet their are great "live'..i would pay to see these guys

  • Charlie Hutch has no class, he just stood here and passed some gas! xDxDxD

  • fuckin' funny!

  • good job Charlie

  • better than the original !!!

  • Sounds great but icould swear the lead 's guitar looks just like the cutting board i made in 8th grade woodshop - the band saw was trouble if you were a stoner...lol
