I have been doing this for a 3days. 3 times a day When i wake up at the gym and before bed and i do 2 sets of 50 per leg. Im 18 i work out everyday and I eat kindof healthy and i have seen amazing results better then running.

LIKE COMMENT SO OTHERS CAN SEE - For everyone who wants to know how many of these you should do to get results in a day is to do like 8-12 of these so do it on both legs and then do 2 sets (which is doing 8-12 on both legs twice). To get even better results, do even like 4 sets ~ON BOTH LEGS~. YOU'LL BE SO SKINNY IN LIKE 4 DAYS. if your in high school like me just do it after school or before but I would prefer to not be sweaty. :)

Wait wouldn't this make them bigger since they are hardening your muscle? Like if you do excercise, it hardens your muscle and makes it bigger...wouldn't this just do the same?
@freshTILdeathXO : with this exercise you are working with controlling your movements with your muscles. By doing this, you are toning your muscles. If you want to add some bulk, you could use ankle weights; but if you are just looking for a nice lean and toned leg, then this would be the best way to go. Bulk comes from heavy weights and lower reps (add some testosterone as well). Some women do have bigger thighs naturally due to muscle; but it will never be like Arnold.
@fech2666 if you don't have a carpet use a terry towel or a folded bedsheet or something. it tends to be a little more painful to your bones when you do it directly on the floor.

Lol I found this video after searching how to get skinny legs cause I've build muscle doing this exercise. This wont make your legs skinnier if you already have skinny legs! But it will tone them and make them stronger. The only thing that made my leg skinny is by running!
Sorry, maybe I'm being daft, but how are leg mobility exercises (or ANY leg exercises) for that matter going to "slim" your legs? And here I was thinking that spot reduction was a myth and the only way to lose fat from the body was to eat fewer calories than you burn and/or increase your metabolism! Silly me apparently! BUZZ!!!! Wrong answer! There are no exercises to reduce fat in a certain area. There is no such thing as spot reduction. Fat is lost systemically, like draining water from a pool. Stop perpetuating this nonsense. Funny how the trainer hides her stomach and isn't leam herself. If you want a lean stomach you have to create a prolonged caloric deficit. There is no magic exercise, no low carb voodoo, no insulin fairies that are going to change this.

@purplesoozie Thighs are the last place for women to lose fat visually because they store it their first hormonally amd because it holds the most fat (along with your ass). You will need to become very lean to lose the fat in your legs.

Sorry, maybe I'm being daft, but how are leg mobility exercises (or ANY leg exercises) for that matter going to "slim" your legs? And here I was thinking that spot reduction was a myth and the only way to lose fat from the body was to eat fewer calories than you burn and/or increase your metabolism! Silly me apparently! I'd like to hear the physiological explanation, please!

@ppppooooooooon lol hey I know that it sounds ridiculous, but the purpose of this is to imagine your muscles in action. There are studies that show that when people picture their muscles working in their head their workouts are more effective.

@JujuNomNom that's a feminine feature( don't know for most men but I like my women to look like women) so I don't think you need to worry unless you're sure they're too fat.

BUZZ!!!! Wrong answer! There are no exercises to reduce fat in a certain area. There is no such thing as spot reduction. Fat is lost systemically, like draining water from a pool. Stop perpetuating this nonsense. Funny how the trainer hides her stomach and isn't leam herself. If you want a lean stomach you have to create a prolonged caloric deficit. There is no magic exercise, no low carb voodoo, no insulin fairies that are going to change this.

@purplesoozie Thighs are the last place for women to lose fat visually because they store it their first hormonally amd because it holds the most fat (along with your ass). You will need to become very lean to lose the fat in your legs.
