  • @omgidonthaveauser No. You are not using any weight. You need to lift massive amount of weight if you are a female to build large muscles - and eat tons of protein, intentionally and regularly. This is a Pilates move. have you ever seen a dedicated dancer/Pilates enthusiast develop large quads as a result of the Pilates practice? You wont.

  • I have been doing this for a 3days. 3 times a day When i wake up at the gym and before bed and i do 2 sets of 50 per leg. Im 18 i work out everyday and I eat kindof healthy and i have seen amazing results better then running.

  • Hey Sarah! First of all LOVE your videos and this workout! I've been doing four sets of 8-12 on both legs everyday for about a two weeks! And I'm loving the results! However, most of the results are only happening in one leg, its odd, one leg looks tone and skinnier and the other is getting there but not nearly as fast, What do you recommend i do? Should i do more on the leg that isn't reacting as well? HELP!!!!!

  • LIKE COMMENT SO OTHERS CAN SEE - For everyone who wants to know how many of these you should do to get results in a day is to do like 8-12 of these so do it on both legs and then do 2 sets (which is doing 8-12 on both legs twice). To get even better results, do even like 4 sets ~ON BOTH LEGS~. YOU'LL BE SO SKINNY IN LIKE 4 DAYS. if your in high school like me just do it after school or before but I would prefer to not be sweaty. :)

  • Wait wouldn't this make them bigger since they are hardening your muscle? Like if you do excercise, it hardens your muscle and makes it bigger...wouldn't this just do the same?

  • @freshTILdeathXO : with this exercise you are working with controlling your movements with your muscles. By doing this, you are toning your muscles. If you want to add some bulk, you could use ankle weights; but if you are just looking for a nice lean and toned leg, then this would be the best way to go. Bulk comes from heavy weights and lower reps (add some testosterone as well). Some women do have bigger thighs naturally due to muscle; but it will never be like Arnold.

  • @fech2666 if you don't have a carpet use a terry towel or a folded bedsheet or something. it tends to be a little more painful to your bones when you do it directly on the floor.

  • This is going to sound AWFUL!... but, how do you put you legs up at a right angle like that? my thighs go up, but my calves bend to 45 degrees!!! Do you have any videos for this? Is this a flexibility issue?? Any help will be greatly appreciated so i can start ASAP! :) Thanks.

  • Lol I found this video after searching how to get skinny legs cause I've build muscle doing this exercise. This wont make your legs skinnier if you already have skinny legs! But it will tone them and make them stronger. The only thing that made my leg skinny is by running!

  • Sorry, maybe I'm being daft, but how are leg mobility exercises (or ANY leg exercises) for that matter going to "slim" your legs? And here I was thinking that spot reduction was a myth and the only way to lose fat from the body was to eat fewer calories than you burn and/or increase your metabolism! Silly me apparently! I'd like to hear the physiological explanation, please!

  • @ppppooooooooon lol hey I know that it sounds ridiculous, but the purpose of this is to imagine your muscles in action. There are studies that show that when people picture their muscles working in their head their workouts are more effective.

  • @sammy4911 YAAA! Like I'm short too so I have to buy jeans that are a size bigger and they are suuuper long too! So I have to but the belt up where my belly button is which is quite uncomfortable..

  • @JujuNomNom that's a feminine feature( don't know for most men but I like my women to look like women) so I don't think you need to worry unless you're sure they're too fat.

  • @purplesoozie Thighs are the last place for women to lose fat visually because they store it their first hormonally amd because it holds the most fat (along with your ass). You will need to become very lean to lose the fat in your legs.
