What is so amazing about Dame Shirley Bassey is that she has that amazing ability to take a popular hit song that has been sung by another singer and make it either better than the original or just as good as the original. Not every singer has that ability to do that. While many people praise singers who write their own songs, how about we give notice to singers who has sung other singer's songs but place their own stamp on it . . . . and succeeds at making that song popular!
