Great job on all your songs. The lead singer would be perfect for a Smithereens tribute band. Sounds just like Pat Dinizio and even looks a little like him.
How did you guys record the audio? (Sound's GREAT for a YouTube vid.) I can't imagine this stuff was done with anything less than an 8-track with a very competent audio engineer. (lol, each of these songs you did at Columbia Lakefront sound like you had an EXPENSIVE mobile studio capturing the sound.)
You won't believe this, but the sound was captured with the on-camera microphone! We had a very accomplished sound engineer running the PA system that was provided by the Columbia Lakefront Association. There were mics on all of the amps plus the drums.
Steve, our lead guitarist, took the sound track and performed some processing magic to make it sound great. I'll try to get him to write a blog about what he did to sweeten up the sound.
Nice Job !

There is no shortage of wonderful material from this era. I, and the rest of the band members, just love to re-create these tunes.
Thanks for your nice comments!
