The way the trick is done is because he has half a card in front of the 9 of hearts and the Jack of Spade, this gives your mind more time to visualize the card. Also when it comes to the Jack of spade there is more of a chance of you picking it because it stands out more because it is a black card not a red one.

lol I know what he did so what he did is put the nine of hearts at a certain place in the deck and then he went threw the deck fast so you can only see the 9 of hearts!

@TheNick84970 No, if you pause it over and over through the rippling you can actually see multiple 9 of hearts. And there's the trick.  All the other cards actually go by too fast to choose.

The 2nd time round your eye should mainly catch the 9 of hearts when he flicks them at the cam, this could be due to there being more then 4, 9 of hearts (all reds) together so thats all you see. ;) That my opinion anyways

criss angel does the exact same thing when he riffles them the jack of spades or the card he chooses will appear longer and is more visible look again when he riffles you will see the jack and the 9

He edited it so those two cards would appear longer than the others. You can tell by his mouth doing the same movement when he says "do you have one." Either he did that or he changed the decks when you couldn't see his hands.

He just makes it so that you can only see one card, the human mind isn't as fast as a bunch of cards going at 100mph, it's impossible that you can see any other card than the one he has set out for you, unless you are smart enough to pause on another card.
