I think that if you are playing with Chuck Mead it still ends up being the Chuck Mead show. Seems to be very giving with bandmates but it is still the Chuck Mead show.
I interviewed these guys on Sirius Radio back in 2004. Great band. Chuck Mead has no idea how big he is. It was right after they reconstituted themselves after Bennett left. They claim he got the hyphen in the divorce.

I like this whole sound. The Derailers, the Mavericks, Bakersfield sound, western swing meets rockabilly. Whatever it is it really works.
