@1997Jonathanalverio naw the real name of this song is "Turkey In The Straw" and it was originally composed in the early 1800's. Chain Hang Low is a rip off of Ears Hang Low which is a childs song with different lyrics to the original but stays to the original melody

Oh good grief, "Chain Hang Low" IS "Turkey in the Straw!" *faceplams* Thanks modern music for DESTROYING one of the best American folk songs ever! Turkey in the Straw predates Chain Hang Low by at least 150 years, and I've been tearing the internet apart looking for a good version with vocals that isn't a kid's song. It's a shame your ice cream truck doesn't include the chorus, which is one of the catchiest in folk music.
