I have a Homelite 25cc and I use an 18x6 or 18x8 master airscrew works great I get 7400 wot and 1200 idle depending how low you leave the idle or should I say how low of an idle can the plane take without tearing it apart....
This was the first run with the factory settings, and it was running too lean. We glued a stick to the adjusting screws to twist them out. Then we removed the stick and cut a small slit (using a Dremel) in the heads of the adjustment screws. From there we were able to tune it in. It works better now but we haven't mounted it in an airplane or measured the thrust. We have a 16X8 prop and think it may be a little too much. Bottom line is the factory carb can be altered to fully adjustable.
